Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is the DQ universe Pokemon game out today for Nintendo DS just about anywhere in the world. Check out a trailer for it here, courtesy of Nintendo Benelux.
"Square Enix has today announced that Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker will be released in all PAL territories on March 14 2008, exclusively for Nintendo DS.
Players will need to hunt down over 200 monsters which can be added to your team. Once part of your team they can be trained in new spells and abilities so you can crush all the foes that stand in your way. It's also possible to synthesise amazing new species of monsters that will inherit the best abilities of their parents, even developin..."
As we continue on towards the holiday season, I'm inclined to believe that this notable games list will continue to grow into gigantic proportions.
Joystiq has Call of Duty 4 as the highlight, but honestly, you can't pin the total spotlight this week on a single game. Besides, one of the greatest games ever came out for the Virtual Console.

So, Nintendo sent out new PR, detailing their new release schedule. Unfortunately, that includes Brawl on Feb. 10
However, there are some very amusing and hidden gems. Assassin's Creed apparently is set to be released February '08, and Advance Wars: Days of Ruin will be releasing on January 21st. There are some delays, including February 4th for Professor Layton (originally Dec. 3). It is shaping up to be a great end of '07/early '08.

A progress report of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker which comes out in the US in November. According to the preview straight away players should notice the fully 3D environments, the gorgeous cut scenes, and Akira Toriyama's(Dragon Ball Z) character art. Square insists that the game will be much more deeper than it's Monster Hunting game rivals(Such as Pokemon).
