"For a while now, the same select Apogee titles have been available through the Good Old Games (GOG) digital distribution site, but apparently they wanted a little more exposure. With the recent release of Duke Nukem Forever they must be hoping some people will come to them looking to play the older titles."
While there has been talk about a possible remake of Duke Nukem 3D by fans for a while now, nothing concrete has ever been said. Nonetheless, much like former-vaporware Duke Nukem Forever, it looks like fanmmade Duke Nukem: Next-Gen has gotten the green light.
"Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week is expanding to six games for this week, the most Microsoft has discounted in one week as part of the program. This week's selection is mostly LIVE Arcade first-person shooters but also includes an addictive "Ode to Joy" puzzler and a strategy game starring worms."
Looking to get a good deal on Duke Nukem 3d for XBLA? Well you are in luck! Starting next week (February 22nd) Duke Nukem 3d will be half off. Normally 800 MSP next week it will be 400 MSP!
It looks like the XBLA port of Duke Nukem 3D will feature some brand new features, including the ability to record and share videos of multiplayer games and share them with other XBox Live players, and the ability to reverse time and replay a particular part of the game. (Kotaku has kindly pointed out that Duke Nukem's infamous stip clubs would be a good use for this feature) ...
