The creators of the Dynasty Warriors franchise have been getting away with making the same game for the past 11 years. Here at GameRabies, Senshaitian gives his opinions on how he feels about this 11 year trend.

Dynasty Warriors 6 (DW 6) was released back in February for the 360 and PS3, and now PC gamers can get a taste with a new demo available through the website listed to the right (where you can also check out a trailer). Yesterday, it was confirmed that the KOEI Warriors: London Gathering #2 will be held on October 25th at the MCM Expo. The event will host cosplayers, such as Zhou Tai from Dynasty Warriors 6 and others. Attenders will also be able to play the latest Koei games that are releasing in the UK.

Dynasty Warriors 6 Special has made some very interesting announcements from the official site today.

• Zhang He now has his famous claws returned to him.
• The release date has been pushed back to October 2, 2008.

DW6:Special is the extended and updated port of the PS3 and Xbox360 Dynasty Warriors 6 to the PS2. Yes, the PS2. So far, four characters including the newly-added Zhang He have been "fixed" from their clone move-sets given new weapons and story modes.

With the new 40Gb Playstation 3 package and Dynasty Warriors 6 recent release, the Playstation 3 has now outsold the Nintendo Wii for 2 weeks in Japan. Developers/Publishers Koei have released 4 new Screenshots of the up and coming title Dynasty Warriors 6 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that should be arriving in November for the Japanese market, though speculation shows that it may be coming to North America in January 2008 and some stretching till December 2008.

"According to the producer, Dynasty Warriors 6 will feature all new character animations and weapons. Koei announced today that Dynasty Warriors 6, formerly thought to be a PS3 exclusive, is coming to the Xbox 360 for a simultaneous release this fall. The game will feature new weapons, and players will be able to perform virtually unlimited combos.

Scans from this week's Famitsu magazine have emerged showing the next-gen version of Dynasty Warriors. From the first glance at the visuals it's most likely fans of the series won't be disappointed.
