At Quakecon today Bethesda's Games Director, Todd Howard admitted why the games created by Bethesda never include ladders to climb without a loading screen.

Books based on video games aren't new, so it's no wonder Bethesda is adding their Elder Scrolls franchise to that growing list. Make some extra money, please the fans, everybody's happy.

We weren't sure before if they would release it as a downloadable or a retail disc, but fates are on the sides of consumers as we finally have the news that we wanted. They will be releasing the game as a retail disc coming your way on November 20th for $29.99.
There are a couple of things to mention from this article, but firstly, let's talk about the PS3 version of Elders Scroll IV: Oblivion which was recently announced to be getting a GOTY Edition which will include Shivering Isles straight in the box.
