On February 10, 2010, Nintendo picked the rights back up for Gamecube game Eternal Darkness. Either they are trying to protect their IP from becoming a 360 exclusive, or we could be seeing an Eternal Darkness Wii Edition.

A few weeks ago a Gamegrep article mentioned that there hasn't been any news of an Eternal Darkness sequel since 2006.

Well it looks like fans can now rest at ease. Silicon Knights' Denis Dyack revealed that there is a "strong chance" a sequel will be made. But since Silicon Knights are now a second-party developer of Microsoft, the game will most likely be an XBox 360 exclusive.

Lack of success is something that Fatal Frame fans have been fearing ever since Fatal Frame IV was announced for the Wii.

But despite the series not continuing on Sony and Microsoft's consoles, most fans hoped that with Nintendo publishing FFIV, the series would at least recieve some much-needed publicity.
