In a press release posted on their forums, Atlus U.S.A. has announced Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard for the Nintendo DS, to release in the states on June 17th, 2008.

Etrian Odyssey II is the sequel to the cult classic Etrian Odyssey, a dungeon crawler RPG that boasted as one of its key features the ability to make your own map. It sported old-school difficulty, but as a quality RPG it garnered attention among circles.
