"Available only on the PS2, EQOA modified the EverQuest experience that PC gamers were used to so that it would work on the consoles. Players that have subscriptions that go past February 29th will receive a pro-rated refund and will also receive 3 months of free time for EverQuest and EverQuest II, being that your account is in good standing."
There is a new program called "Living Legacy", which allows the subscribers of EQ who have inactive accounts and have paid their bills to come back and play for free until the end of July. The players who do return get the EQ II: Rise of Kunark compilation and items at no cost and they will be able to keep it all if they do decide to pay again. SOE also has events planned for current players as well the noobs, so don't feel like you're getting left out.
