Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, Patrick and I asked a few game developers how their work in the gaming industry affects their dreams. We heard back from creators behind "Fable II," "Mirror's Edge" and "Alone In The..."
Fable 2's technical art director Ian Lovett revealed the visual aspect of the second installment of the game was partly influenced by famed film director Ridley Scott (possibly most known for Blade Runner, but also for more recent works like Kingdom of Heaven, Matchstick Men, Hannibal, and Gladiator). Who would've thought?
"Peter Molyneux: Nintendo did a brilliant job of doing that at launch with games like Wii Sports and Wii Play - maybe Fable 2 is a defining title. But you are talking to the proud father of this game, so you can't ask me to be tremendously objective.
