Sequels are the game that tend to make the most money in this industry, so it is pretty much expected that every big game will get one or more sequels. It can be great when a sequel turns out as good or better than the original, but it can be devastating when it doesn't. These 10 games didn't to live up to the quality of their predecessors, and failed to meet fans' high expectations.

IGN's 360 team has created a "Cheers & Tears" list comprising of 5 RPGs you should check out and 5 of them that your wallet should stay clear of. The Cheers section probably won't be much of a surprise to anyone, featuring Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fable II, Fallout 3, Mass Effect, and Lost Odyssey. Wii- Wii Music, Wii Fit, and Wii Play all came out on the top of the Wii lists.
Xbox 360- Fable II (not surprisingly), Tales of Vesparia, and Far Cry 2 were at the top of the charts.
Playstation 3- In North America Dead Space came out on top, with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed as second. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (special edition), and FIFA 09 came out on top in other regions.
