Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

We've all been itching to figure out what the heck LucasArts' big Monday announcement would be. Well, they've finally revealed it via Twitter with a press release file.

Turns out, the big news is their partnership with Steam, as a part of an ongoing effort to revive classic games under the LucasArts name.

Confirmed today in a press release from publisher Lucas Arts, the Wii version of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings will include as "bonus content" the classic point and click adventure game The Fate of Atlantis, much lauded by PC gamers of yesteryear.

The release points to "seven screenshots, including one of Fate of Atlantis", but they all appear to be from the older game, as these aren't exactly Wii-level graphics. Anyhow, here they are -- Fate of Atlantis revived.

"Indiana Jones is more than just a figure of the silver screen -- the hero has whipped his way through several videogames since his first romp on the Atari 2600. In honor of the release of the fourth Indy film "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," IGN Retro has put together a list of the top Indiana Jones games you need to check out in order to set the mood for the movie debut."
