"Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase has admitted that the Japanese software giant may end up developing yet more additions to the Final Fantasy VII universe, despite the fact the release Advent Children Complete on Blu-ray was supposed to signal the end of any FFVII-related productions."

Within the past several years, Square Enix has been on the ball with remakes of their classic Final Fantasy games. And rumors of a remake for the huge and popular Final Fantasy 7 have been been buzzing around the net.

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada explains how there has been a remake boom lately, "The price of games is high, and consumers tend to be wary of buying games they are unfamiliar with".

That's an interesting reason for the increase of remake talk, but SE fans hope they do...

Square Enix will soon be holding a Final Fantasy VII Anniversary exhibition to commemorate the last ten years of Final Fantasy VII. The exhibition will revolve around a gallery of Final Fantasy VII: Compilation images for fans to browse through.
For the lucky people who happen to be in Japan from August 31st - September 2nd, they can pop around to the Aoyama spiral garden of the Tokyo, Minato-ku, to check out the sights. Admission fee is free.
