Dissidia: Final Fantasy's American release is just around the corner, so here's a glimpse at how the English version looks and sounds. Naturally, the villains have far better voice-acting than the heroes.

Final Fantasy: Dissidia is set to hit the West this coming Summer, and the first of surely many more trailers has been released. This one isn't anything special, just a little explanation of the plot and CGI, but Square Enix should be following this with more later.
While we have certainly seen plenty of how the combat and character mechanics will work in Dissidia, we have been quite ignorant up until now about how exactly the story mode will function. A recent video on Eurogamer though gives a good deal of insight into this, showing the movement grid, ordinary enemy battles and boss encounters. It's all in Japanese but you can still learn a good bit from it.
I think everyone after Advent Children wanted to play a game with the ability to do moves like Cloud and Sephiroth, and so far Dissidia is making a good attempt. A new gameplay video has emerged, featuring every one's favourite spiky haired protagonist pitted against his katana wielding nemesis. The video shows off a far more movement orientated fight, complete with classic music and both of the combatants using Limit Breaks. Go to the source to watch it.
Yes the impossible has happened, someone has actually managed to sneak a video out of the Square Enix closed Mega Theater and live to tell the tale. The bootlegger caught footage of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, The 3rd Birthday and even a bit of Dissidia on tape, so sit down and have a watch if you have even a passing interest in any of these titles. Download them if you want to keep them, Square Enix will likely go on a crusade to make sure the public continues...
Round one began a while ago, but you can't stop Final Fantasy ! In these two videos the battle between the Warrior of Light and Garland continues, but who will come out on top this time ?

Whilst this isn't the first Dissidia gameplay video we've seen, it does mark the first time we've seen the game from the perspective of the bad guy, in this case Garland from Final Fantasy I.

Gamekyo revealed a video showing a whole battle between Onion Knight and Cloud of Darkness. You can see some of the RPG elements that were said to be featured in the game such as being able to Level Up, change classes in-battle and apparently on special occasions being able to choose an attack from a list that looks familiar to Final Fantasy fans.
