Square Enix recently register a few trademarks in Japan, a few of which should sound familiar to fans (especially long-time enthusiasts) of the publisher.

Square Enix's SaGa series celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year with the release of the DS remake SaGa 2: Goddess of Destiny. To make the event even more special, yesterday Square Enix announced a special SaGa 20th Anniversary Limited Edition DSi will be launched alongside the game when it releases on September 17th in Japan. The game itself will retail for 5980 yen, while the DSi Limited Edition will go for 24,880 yen.

Squaresoft's SaGa series has long been the little-known counterpart to the Final Fantasy name in the West (though it went under this guise with a the Gameboy FF Legend titles), but it's definitely a series worth visiting (some might even argue moreso).
