Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

Square-Enix has finally, after much delay, released the classic strategy RPG, Final Fantasy Tactics, for iOS today. You can purchase the app at the app store for $15.99 and the game is set to release on iPad later this month.

Within the past several years, Square Enix has been on the ball with remakes of their classic Final Fantasy games. And rumors of a remake for the huge and popular Final Fantasy 7 have been been buzzing around the net.

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada explains how there has been a remake boom lately, "The price of games is high, and consumers tend to be wary of buying games they are unfamiliar with".

That's an interesting reason for the increase of remake talk, but SE fans hope they do...

As we start trekking towards the holiday season, multitudes of games are on their way out, some looking for a place inside a console or someone's lucky game shelf. Some others are looking for a place inside a closet, only to magically reappear under a Christmas tree.

The rumor that there will be new jobs in the sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance that has been going around for some time is finally confirmed.

Here are the known new jobs up to date:

  • Bangaas - Canooner
  • Vieras - Green Mage
  • Moogles - Chocobo Knight
