"Joining a lengthy interview on Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, this week's Famitsu has a significantly shorter interview with Tetsuya Nomura on Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
Most of the discussion focused on three new screenshots. It will be a bit tough to follow most of this summary without seeing the screens for yourself, but here are some textual descriptions.

Tetsuya Nomura is a filthy liar. After telling gamers earlier this month that Final Fantasy Versus XIII wouldn't be present at this years Tokyo Game Show, it appears he had a change of heart, treating lucky visitors to a private showing of the first, rough, in-game footage of the game.

There are some new screenshots for Square Enix's upcoming PS3 RPG, Final Fantasy Versus XIII. These are direct feed shots from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. Two characters are shown: the hero Noctis Lucis Caelum and heroine Stella Nox Fleuret, and the screens show a scene between the two.
Last week some leaked Famitsu scans emerged, showing the newest Final Fantasy XIII screenshots that were revealed at the recent Square Enix Party.
Now, Forever Fantasy have got their hands on some higher quality versions of those scans. The detail in the character models and locations is amazing. Click on the thumbnails to check it out!

Square Enix have released a truck-load of screenshots from all their newest games: Final Fantasy XIII. Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Parasite Eve 3: The 3rd Birthday, Final Fantasy: Dissidia, Final Fantasy XIII: Dissidia, the various new Kingdom Hearts games, and so on.
Most of them have already been seen in low-quality magazine scans, but some (namely the wedding shots from Parasite Eve) are 100% brand spankin' new.
It sure is strange seeing tomboy Aya in a wedding dress!

Part of the upcoming Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII comilation, which will arrive in its entirety on the PlayStation 3 console, little is know of Final Fantasy Versus XIII - especially concerning game screens beyond CG footage.
However, that looks set to change following Famitsu's uncovering of a pair of supposedly real-time in-game screenshots that provide considerable tantalisation for expectant fans.
Final Fantasy fans have been on their toes lately, hoping for any scrap of new information regarding Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Well this week's Shonen Jump magazine has granted their wishes, revealing both new summons from FFXIII (including old favorites Ifrit, Siren and Carbuncle) and new characters from Versus.
Not exactly action-filled as those of FFXIII, however the three screens that have been released for Final Fantasy Versus XIII are absolutely stunning. Take a look at them below (or at the source site).
