"Depending on how you look at it, the Chinese either got a good deal or a bad deal when it comes to the launch of Final Fantasy XIII. The game finally launched in Hong Kong this month, but the wait was worth it. The launch was packed with some pretty hot cosplayers dressed as the stars of the game of course."

The Final Fantasy XIII figurines are being sold in Japan, but if retailers thought that the public might ignore the dozens of promotional posters on the windows, Akihabara's Kotobukiya store thought up a plan that might attract people's attention: Have a bunch of cosplayers pose like said figurines at the front of the store. No idea on whether it helped sales or not, but apaprently they were a real hit with photographers.
