Amazon.com discounted several Nintendo DS games to the best prices ever available for these titles: Discounted games include Collector's Edition Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force ($24), Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon ($10) and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games ($25).
The NPD Group has released the top twenty software and top ten software by platform lists for the recently unveiled February 2009 sales numbers yesterday, showing the top rankings in software sales for the month. The top ten rankings for accessory sales are also available.

"Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon makes for an interesting introduction to the series, but it's going to feel a bit backward to anyone who has played the "older" games in the franchise. Spring and love and all that garbage are in the air, and with that kicks off a solid batch of games this week. The obvious blockbuster is Street Fighter IV, the fighting game for pretty much everyone, really, then the fabulous RTS Dawn of War II (the RTS even for people who don't play RTS), and two titles from equally reputable RPG series': Dragon Quest V and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.

With the two press conferences dominating the first day of the Nintendo Conference/Media Summit yesterday, the rest is being devoted to the games.
