"Rising Star Games has announced the appointment of a new columnist at their Hoshi Club – the online destination for videogame fans to find out the latest details on Rising Star Games’ videogame releases and insight into Japanese culture. Following the signing of ex-Edge deputy editor, David McCarthy, Alex Sim-Wise shall have her own personal space to write about videogames, Japanese culture and pretty much anything she wishes."

"Rising Star Games have become synonymous with those quintessentially Japanese videogame treats that otherwise may have never made their way to European shores. The sweet, inviting world of the classic Harvest Moon series and pleasing guilt involved in commanding your loyal (or perhaps, not so loyal) followers in Little King’s Story is regularly contrasted with the dark, grimy labyrinths of JU-ON: The Grudge or the under-appreciated Nintendo DS First-Person Shooter, Moon."

Rising Star Games, XSEED Games' counterpart in the PAL regions and Marvelous subsidiary, has confirmed today that they will be bringing the tri-Crescendo adventure RPG Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon for the Wii in early 2010.

Fragile released back in Japan in January, and will see a US release by XSEED Games this winter in North America.

XSEED Games is usually good with their customer relations; you can send them questions and for the most part they'll be happy to answer. NeoGAF user Hero of Legend sent a bunch of questions XSEED's way recently, and received a response, gaining the following information:

  • XSEED still has two titles they haven't announced yet: one for Wii, one for DS
    • That Wii Game isn't Ougon no Kizuna.
  • Little King's Story will keep its July 21st date, and will have an all new Tyrant difficulty

XSEED Games has revealed through IGN that they will be localizing Wii Adventure RPG Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon, which will release this Winter in North America. Following numerous requests from fans, XSEED President Jun Iwasaki confirms that the publisher has obtained the rights to the North American release from Namco Bandai. An interview with localization manager Kenji Hosoi is also included in the article.

"The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has thrown up a number of new details about what looks like one of the Nintendo Wii’s most promising upcoming single-player experiences, Namco Bandai’s Fragile. Information on exploration, battling and enemies, was all divulged."

Earlier today, Namco Bandai announced that they are developing a Wii-exclusive RPG currently named Fragile. Although all we have right now is a bit of artwork and a teaser site, but the game itself will be shown this coming Thursday and an event will be held the Saturday after that. Two days later, on Monday, November 26th, the official site will open.

Certainly good news for the rather RPG-starved Wii.
