With the lines between consoles and PC fading into nothing, Sony Online Entertainment will be destroying yet another barrier. Free-to-play MMO Free Realms will be the first ever console release for a free MMO and will launch late this month on March 29.
Sony Online Entertainment has been promising Free Realms for the PS3 for a while now and many people seem to be anticipating the free-to-play MMO landing on the consoles, but for now hopefully they can take some solice in the fact that it just landed on Mac.
"For a limited time, players can purchase a lifetime subscription to Free Realms for just $29.99. The lifetime membership will be on sale from July 16 at 12:00 PM PDT until August 2 at 12:00 PM PDT."
