Well, with Black Friday behind us, we can probably expect the glut of games being released to decrease over time. But who would've expected this much of a drop off? Shortest notable list in a while, folks. However, there's still to be some gems to come out in the waning weeks of 2007.
For the time being, my wallet is happy. At least until I realize there's games I haven't picked up yet from the last couple of weeks.
Also, no PS3, PSP?
Notable games this week:

Last week, I got off easy; I got away with only putting four of that pretty large list of notables in the title. With the games releasing this week, it looks like that's not possible. This is how you know it's the holidays.
That said, there are plenty of good games that came out last week, coming out this week, and will come out in the upcoming weeks. Console allegiances be damned; we're all gamers, and let's enjoy all these games. Defense Forces need not apply. Support good games!

Take note that this is a partial list. Most not...
For months after the launch of the Xbox 360, the only good arcade game to play was Geometry wars. With the success of the game on the 360, the developers decided to create one for Nintendo platforms and mobile phones. But with all this there was no official word for a second Geometry wars for the 360. Community man Ben Ward did say that they have not forgotten about the 360. In hopes that they will make one in the future.
Sierra Entertainment confirms that the Xbox Live Arcade wonder will soon be making its way to Nintendo's flagship game platforms before the end of the year. Geometry Wars: Galaxies for the DS and Wii is expected to be a sequel to Bizarre Creations' Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved for the Xbox 360, featuring new content which naturally takes advantage of the features exclusive to the Nintendo consoles. Galaxies will also support additional multiplayer modes like co-op and versus.
