"It seems like every week when we’re trying to figure out who to pick as the CBotW, we end up looking to the fighting genre because game designers have intentionally made the female characters of that genre appear “over the top” (and quite often in the “top” area). Instead we’ve looked to the action genre and plucked a character from the world of games based on cartoons and movies. While games based on licensed materials rarely satisfy, we think our pick this week for the Cosplay Babe of the W..."
Is this a rant or a review? With games like G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra, it can often be hard to tell the difference. Okay, so it's a pretty late review, but you don't expect us to spend our hard-earned money on a game like this, do you?
Blame PR reps and snail mail. Go, USPS!
Either way, have a look if you like. Might be amusing to read an account of another person's suffering.
"The player is allowed to choose their favourite character for the majority of the levels, and each is distinctive in their attacks. "The Dog Days of Summer are here as we've entered August and the home stretch in the Summer slowdown. Like almost every other week this Summer, the biggest release is a movie tie-in game. In this case, its G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which is coming to the DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360."
"If you’re a hardcore G.I. Joe fan, then you might want a closer look at this tidbit: EA said people who preorder the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra game at participating retailers in North America will receive a code to unlock certain playable characters in their classic uniform from the original 1980s G.I. Joe cartoon/toy series."
