Gran Turismo 4 Mobile

Gran Turismo 4 Mobile

A list of top ten best-selling Playstation Portable titles on the Playstation Network so far this year, according to the latest Playstation Pulse episode.

"Below is a list of the top downloaded items from the PlayStation Store for the week ending October 22nd. This week Call of Duty: World at War and Fallout 3 both dominate the chart. The number one spot is occupied by the latest COD: WAW Map Pack for the second straight week. Fallout 3’s add on content has been very popular over the past few weeks. Check back each week for the lastest and most popular downloads from the PlayStation Store."

Looks like our user frostyhudson's 411mania site has ceased their great release lists, so it's back to shacknews.

Shed a tear, then remember Risen, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the Wizard of Oz RPG (really, it's gonna be good -- check for Neoseeker's review shortly), Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga, Gran Turismo PSP, Obscure, and lastly (phwew), the PSPGo are coming out (plus a few other highlights).

"Arguably the most renowned racing franchise in the history of gaming, Gran Turismo has finally found itself on the PSP. After teasing us for several years with random images and minor news blurbs, Polyphony Digital has delivered Gran Turismo for the PSP. Supporting 800 cars, 35 tracks, and a large number of driving challenges, Gran Turismo PSP was designed for GT fans and those who want to experience a realistic driving simulation on a handheld."

"No UK release date or price has yet been revealed, though it has been stated that the contents of the bundle will be different in the UK. It has previously been revealed that early-adopters of the PSP Go in PAL territories will receive a voucher for the downloadable version of Gran Turismo PSP included in the package – an offer which has not yet been confirmed for the US."

"On the back of the Go! announcement was the true reveal of the PSP version of the multi million dollar franchise; Gran Turismo. This game is not to be a port of one of the previous games nor that of GT5, but a fully fledged, from the ground up handheld racing gem. To be honest I can’t wait, the only PSP game I have ever got excited for. My fat PSP doesn’t really get much use; I might trade it in and trade it up for a Go! on release see if I can get more fun out of it, the UMD’s annoy me too m..."

Computer and Video Games has managed to sit down with the man behind Gran Turismo himself, Kazunori Yamauchi, in an exclusive interview about the Gran Turismo series. He's confirmed that the US version will have the additional content that was added to the UK release and talks about the delay for Gran Turismo 5, which Sony has said is about a year away while also discussing his hopes for Gran Turismo Mobile for the PSP.

Here's something you may have heard before, but never believed.

Real racers actually use Gran Turismo to train. In fact, Formula One drivers like Jarno Trulli (Toyota) and Kazuki Nakajima (BMW) have publicly admitted to having used Gran Turismo to train and learn the track layouts, as well as where to brake. Now if THAT didn't impress you, listen to this. Kazunori Yamauchi, director of the series, has driven about two thousand or so laps around Tsukuba circuit in the Gran Turismo games. We...

The annual Top Ten Vaporware Games of 2007 went up recently, and looking from the list, most of the winning games are PS3 titles--more specifically, PS3 titles that are yet to be released. Well, the rules for this list don't exactly follow the ones of the usual ones. The major one being that the games don't need to have a 2007 release date on it. However, for it to make the list it needs to have attained a certain level of "hype."

And it's no surprise that the No.1 on this list is the much...

"Well worthy of the title 'most delayed PlayStation Portable game ever' is Gran Turismo 4 Mobile, a handheld version of the massively successful racer that was initially 'announced' for the PSP around the same time as the sexy little console - along with GT-specific box art and UMD mock-ups.

According to The Magic Box however, Gran Turismo 4 Mobile now has a vague release date, which equates to some time: "before the appearance of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on the PlayStation 3." At least, tha..."
