Kevin Butler returns with a new commercial, this time talking Gran Turismo 5 and its amazing features. And wouldn't you know it, he gets himself a nice little ride in the process...illegally. :D
Two amazing new videos have surfaced for Sony's recently delayed Gran Turismo 5 that show off some of the higher detail points in the game, particularly weather and car models. Don't complete your weekend without seeing these!
"Seems like we just can’t get enough of Gran Turismo 5 these days. Sony and Polphony Digital definitely have an amazing looking game on their hands as these weather effects are absolutely SICK!"
"It's not exactly clear if the race shown is a replay or a live race, but the list of options and information offered is impressive. There are multiple camera options and the ability to chat to other players as you watch, and there looks to be a mode which sees the racing view shrunk to a small thumbnail so the game can fill the screen with other stats like detailed timing info, date, time and weather, and options to jump to different sections of the race."
We are still waiting to hear on a release date for Gran Turismo 5 but the E3 trailer for the game dropped last night showing off the many different styles of racing.
A bunch of new videos for the upcoming (eventually) Gran Turismo 5 have been leaked on the internet and we bring you the best of the bunch here in a single article. Take a look at them yourself to decide how the development of GT5 is coming along.
"Oh Polyphony Digital. How you tease and taunt us with your beautiful trailers and screenshots of Gran Turismo 5. You know that gamers are ready for your latest entry in the Gran Turismo series but still you delay and delay and give us only the most cursory hints at when the game will release. But we still love you. Oh yes, we do."
Some beautiful GT5 Prologue videos, this is the first time I've seen any in-cockpit footage in closed quarters city tracks. They look breathtaking. There's a second video which involves a guy that just keeps spinning out which shows off some nice smoke and dust effects but more importantly, just how awesome the in-cockpit view looks when all the shadows are moving around from the changing light source direction.
I recommend watching them in HD.
Boasting some of the most advanced car graphics this new trailer from Japan is a must see for all Gran Turismo Fans as well as other racing fans. Some of the cars to check out in this trailer include the GTR 35 and the Audi Le Mans Quattro.
