NoobFeed.com celebrates Halloween in style. Playing dress up at the local convention can be a little intimidating or even embarassing, so here are some ways to support fan faovirtes without losing face or shedding clothes. It's cold this time a year, so we can't have people running around with no clothes on. Happy Halloween!

Valve has created some of the best games in the history of the industry. It was rumored that they are now at work on an IP. Today, some concept art was leaked and it looks like nothing we've ever seen from them. Check it out.

Steam has had the ability to change the way the PC game market functions. With it, players have had new doors open to them. Check out the full story on Valve's site.

Some video game characters are heroic, some sexy, others silly. And then there are these folks, who are tougher to get a handle on. Presenting the most mysterious video game characters of all time.

"Valve’s Half-Life 2 is six years old this month. On its release, it was widely regarded as not only one of the greatest shooters of all time, but one of the best video games period; a beacon of what a game could be. Half-Life 2 transcended the constraints of its genre, elevating beyond a traditional shooting gallery into, one could say, a work of art. Each element of the game is meticulously designed and incorporated for maximum immersion. But six years is a long time, especially in the video..."

"Last week’s Electronic Theatre Sunday Special was the run down of Top Ten Videogame Heroes; featuring the protagonist you loved like Sam Fisher, Sonic the Hedgehog and Link. So to prove that the games industry isn’t just a man’s game, this week we focus on the Top Ten Videogame Heroines. Ten of the females that got you hot under the collar, and not in the Dead or Alive Paradise way, but stayed on track with the heroic mission which faced them have been chosen for this week’s feature article."

"Rosegarden is an experimental Half-Life 2 mod which is now available as a demo. It is developed by the RG Team and proposes an experimental example of a gameplay exploiting the “Helpless Spectators” concept."

""This is the first in hopefully a series of articles, where each time we take a look at all the games in a particular series and talk about what the developer, the community & our own opinion is on whether its story and events in them are considered canonical within the series.

This time we tackle the Half-Life series.""

Though it is a little old, it is worth viewing by any fan of the series. Amazing recreations of Half-Life 2 character models using LEGOs.

I smell LEGO Half-Life sometime in the future.

"It is unfortunate that in the real world, there are certain types of people who just look like sex offenders. Whether they are or not. Peter Jackson, for example, wouldn't look out of place with his trousers round his ankles, running through a nursery and being sick all over himself. Same goes for Geoffrey out of Rainbow. There are certain people that, should it come to light that they've been arrested for some hideous sexual misdemeanor, we wouldn't be surprised. This is why it's so easy for..."

"Hot shot detectives, warrior princesses, and damsels in distress: video games have featured all kinds of attractive women over the years. To celebrate the beauties that the games industry has created, we've compiled a list of the top 50 digital hotties to ever grace our television sets. These girls represent both the curvy and the understated. The wise and the ditsy. These ladies are born from imagination and built from pixels and 3D renderings to tease our eyes and imaginations. So what are ..."

"Something fundamental had changed in the nature of our surroundings, and we all knew it. It wasn't just the weariness of a long, cross-European journey playing with our minds. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.

And then it clicked, and in unison we exclaimed in shrill terror, "Holy shit, we're in City 17!".

And we were. We really, really were. We swear that Valve must have taken Leipzig as singular inspiration when designing Half-Life 2's Combine-controlled metropolis. It lo..."

Half Life 2: Episode 3 will be the final installment in the episodic expansions of Half Life 2. Although little to no information is known about this title, and it is confirmed to not be attending E3 this year, a piece of concept art has managed to filter through.

( Note that the consoles listed are [XBOX360], [PC] and [PS3], dismissing any former rumours that the title wouldn't be appearing on the Sony Console. )

"Valve marketing boss Doug Lombardi said that the next installment in the Half-Life franchise would not be showing up at E3 2008, shooting down rumors that began circulating the Internet yesterday.

But, he said that a "playable Left 4 Dead will be on display in a Valve-hosted suite."

Half-Life 2: Episode 2 launched relatively recently (October 2007), but the franchise's loyal fanbase is already ready for more.

In the absence of Episode 3, Left 4 Dead will be Valve's focus at E3. The g..."

Is there any limit to what this game can do? The only limit truly is your imagination and skills with a mouse. A look at some of the enemies in Half-Life - including the Strider, Antlion, Hunter, Honudeye, Bullsquid, and of course - the Headcrab.

So, it's a pretty slow release week this week, especially considering that three of the more notable releases this week are really just The Orange Box being split up into parts. But this week also sees the release of the dark RPG for the Wii and PS2, Baroque, and the PC Director's Cut of Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed: DC probably still has all the repetition of the original version, though.

Notable games this week:

"Valve's reputation as a top tier developer began when Half-Life released in 1998 and was cemented in 2004 when they released the spectacular sequel. Now, they're bringing that magic back with The Orange Box. As we've said in countless previews, this is one of the best deals we've ever seen in gaming, especially for those people that have yet to play Half-Life 2 at all. With Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode One, and Half-Life 2 Episode Two, players can take the entire Half-Life 2 journey up to..."

Six months ago, I looked at three titles that were promising us Episodic content and I was not thrilled with the results. Six months later, I decided to follow up on those three franchises to see where they were at now. And I was a bit disappointed. We are still waiting for one, one has left the building and one succeeded in its original promise.

"Valve is eyeing September as the potential release time for Half Life 2: Episode 2.

Valve is still being coy about the release date, but in an interview, marketing director, Doug Lombardi, said, “We're looking at the back-to-school timeframe... Right in September. Ish.”

Valve engineer Robin Walker added, “September is entirely self-adopted. If it finally came to September and we thought the game sucked we wouldn't ship it. We've held it long enough.”

Not quite the bold statement we'd..."
