Okay, so we're all well aware that Halo 3: ODST was not the biggest attraction at E3 this year. It maintains enough popularity and support for Microsoft to keep their appointment books tight, severely limiting the number of people who got to see the in-depth demo behind closed doors.

Bungie.net have posted an preview of the additions to Forge next week's "Legendary Map Pack" will bring.

Of note are Forge Filters, invisible camera objects that cast a live visual effect upon the level (pictured). Great for adding atmosphere to your creations or for budding Halo 3 photographers.

The three new maps will be made available April 15 via the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Electronic Gaming Monthly has decided to pit Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 against Killzone 2 for the Playstation 3 and compare the AI. In short, they say that Halo 3 has really smart enemies, but it's the total opposite for the Killzone 2 and it has dumb enemies. While they can't know for sure which will be better we shall soon be able to see for ourselves with the releases of the two games.

"Halo 3's playback function offers standard fast-forward, pause and rewind controls. It also allows a modest degree of editing, with the ability to trim unwanted bits. If there's a dull section in a match, you can pretend it didn't happen... or if all you want is to show off that one really sweet part where you blew up someone's Warthog so hard they flew outside the level boundaries, you can do that, too.
