Halo Wars has set a new record in its downloads which have now reached 2million in the week following its debut. The demo itself is fantastic and i suggest any of you who haven't already downloaded it go do so now.
Microsoft recently announced that Halo Wars has gone gold. With that news the company released some screenshots of the demo gameplay, which will be available on Xbox Live February 5th. The screenshots aren't bad, but you can easily spot the graphical flaws of the game given how clear they are.

Hot off the press from the Microsoft keynote speech at CES, Steve Ballmer has announced that the release date of the Halo Wars demo is February 5th. For those of you not in the know, Halo Wars is an upcoming RTS in the Halo game-universe. It will feature all sorts of familiar units and equipment as well as allow players to see early Human-Covenant battles.
The Halo series universe meets Command and Conquer. Brought to you by Ensemble Studios is Halo Wars, a new RTS that throws you in the middle of the Halo Universe allowing you to fight as the human UNSC armies and take on the Covenant in large scale battles.
