The Christmas episode of Sony’s Pulse has given us the lowdown on which of the raft of games available on the PlayStation Network sold best in the last twelve months. Quite surprisingly - given the nature of the game - PAIN takes the number one spot, with the likes of the confusing flOw and the bizarrely-named High Stakes Poker Edition helping to fill out the rest of the places.

"As well as today's PS Day-related update, Sony has told CVG that the usual weekly update on Thursday will still happen, with more new content, although that list is yet to be confirmed.

"Right, this is strange. The day after my rant about the PS3 not needing an in-game XMB, we get two things on the Playstation Store that ironically address the themes of discussion. High Velocity Bowling supports custom soundtracks, and the TimeShift demo allows you to bring up your friends list and read your messages.
