More information is now available for Level-5 Vision 2009, the developer/publisher's conference to showcase its upcoming titles and to announce new projects. There are a total of nine projects being showcased at the August 25th conference, three of which will be new projects announced there.

There is a new trailer available for Level-5's upcoming Soccer RPG Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha (lit. The Threat of the Invader) for the Nintendo DS. It is a direct sequel to the original Inazuma Eleven, starring goalkeeper Mamoru Endou, concerning an alien soccer team invading the Earth:



Inazuma Eleven 2: Kyoui no Shinryakusha will come in two versions, Flame and Blizzard, and will release on October 1st in Japan. The game's official site can be found here.

Japanese newssite GPara has Media Create's top thirty software rankings for the week of November 10th to November 16th. This week's top ten is an eye-opener, and is pretty weird compared to other weeks.

Japanese newssite Inside Games has Media Create's top thirty software rankings for the week of September 8th to September 14th. Having seen Famitsu's numbers for the week earlier today, there aren't really any new surprises, although there are some discrepancies in the order of the rankings.

In the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, talented Japanese game developer Level-5 has announced that it will be holding a press conference: Level-5 Vision 2008 in Japan on September 26th. The advertisement in Famitsu read "A game revolution is beginning! Wait for shocking announcements from Level-5!"

Japan's game and hardware sales from last week have been revealed, with Rhythm Tengoku Gold, a Ninteno DS game, coming first. One of the newest additions to the Japanese market, Afrika, came in second with 38,000 units sold. Rounding out the top five is J-League Winning Eleven 2008 Club Championship for the PS2, PSP Fate/Tiger Colosseum Upper for the PSP, and Wii Fit.

Over on the hardware side, the DS Lite sold the most, reaching over 56,000 units! Second was the PSP with 41k new owners, ...

CESA has released a first list of games [PDF] that will be shown at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show that will be held from October 9, 2008 to October 12, 2008.
