[SquareEnix] Wada: "We're now in the age of the multi-platform. "

Cruxis Mana | July 29, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 Wii  | views: 4473
"Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has told GamesIndustry.biz that the RPG specialist is neutral when it comes to dealing with publishing and platform partners.

"We always consider the territory and hardware for titles, and I just want to make sure that we're neutral about dealing with companies," said Wada speaking in an exclusive interview published today.

"In Japan we know that the Xbox 360 isn't really that strong yet, but for me I feel very calm about dealing with any company, and w..."

Infinite Undiscovery tapped for DLC

chautemoc | July 01, 2008 | News | XBOX 360  | views: 1873
"Late last Friday, Square Enix revealed the box art for Infinite Undiscovery and in the top right hand corner there is a Live mark. The logo is not an Xbox Live stamp, which means Infinite Undiscovery will not have online play. Square Enix never said it would so there shouldn’t be any disappointment. However, the “Live” logo made me curious. Project Sylpheed, Square Enix’s other Xbox 360 game, has auxiliary content like gamer icons and it doesn’t have a Live logo on it.

My suspicion was Inf..."

Squenix dates Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remnant, Star Ocean 4, screens

chautemoc | June 10, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 XBOX 360  | views: 1971
"It looks as if 2008 is set to be the year of the role-playing game. Earlier this year Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey was released on the Xbox 360, and Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors was recently released on the Wii. Portables also picked up some action, with titles including The World Ends With You and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings coming to the Nintendo DS.

As far as the rest of the year goes, it's looking pretty good too. Two long-awaited epics are on the w..."

Infinite Undiscovery Official Site Opens

Akira_EX | April 25, 2008 | News | XBOX 360  | views: 2338
Infinite Undiscovery, developed by master developer tri-Ace, is a RPG for the Xbox 360, and published by Square Enix.

Check out the official site here.

Featured on the site are three BGMs, along with information on the world, characters, gameplay systems, battle system, and other game specifications. The various screenshots spread throughout the site show a beautiful and vibrant game. The BGMs are well done, also. I can't wait.

Infinite Undiscovery: Characters Revealed

Akashi | April 23, 2008 | News | XBOX 360 Company Gaming Tech/Hardware  | views: 2508
"This week's Famitsu has revealed three new characters for Square-Enix's upcoming 360 RPG Infinite Undiscovery. Here's all three with what little info we've got so far:

Eduardo, age 17, is a swordsman who wields an unsurprising-but-still-ludicrous large sword, is also a member of the resistance. He looks up to Sigmund and always strives to do his best to earn his respect. Although he may seem cool and calm, his ideals sometimes cloud his actions.

Lucca and Locca, age 10, are fraternal tw..."
