"This will be a debateable article for many of you, and some will simply say it is a cry piece about not having the right console, or a PC for that matter. However, to the open minded, this is a true reflection on how we have all been affected, penalised, punished or, dare I say it, betrayed by the games we love and hold dear to our hearts for simply not having the right gaming platform."

"Last week we delivered buyer's guides to inform our readers what to get the gamer in their life this holiday season. Today we bring you a list of ten games that should, in no circumstances, be placed under the tree for your joystick junkie. This list of games was actually harder to construct than a list of must-haves for the simple fact that there were a ton of games this year that we should avoid at all costs. Each game represented below is a mockery of why we came to love games in the first..."

Gamasutra's Brandon Sheffield sat down with Sega of America's CEO Simon Jeffery to discuss the house that Sonic built. The longtime Nintendo rival made headlines when it announced that it was dropping out of console manufacturing after the demise of the woefully underappreciated Sega Dreamcast. Steadily growing stronger, however, is the developer/publisher's western division, which has become the sixth biggest publisher in the United States, and has acquired a few studios in the West.

Ton Khodee, aka TiTON has conjured up some extremely comprehensive case mods to celebrate Team Fortress 2, Iron Man, and some other games, of which the mods are currently in the works.

For all the detail, it's almost more impressive he got at least the Iron Man one done in just three weeks!

Check out the site for some posts on the construction of each - fascinating stuff if you're into it.

The May 2008 NPD numbers have been recently released, and by the looks of it, the numbers overall were below people's expectations, with hardware and software numbers decreasing since last month. Many thanks for sonycowboy at NeoGAF and the NPD Group for making the numbers available. The tracking period was a four week period, from May 4th to May 31st.

May only saw one major release: the ever-popular Wii Fit from Nintendo. The focus this month came on Grand Theft Auto IV, Mario Kart W...

"Superhero films have done brilliantly well over the past few years, and the latest Marvel icon to receive a Hollywood makeover is Iron Man. As with every big blockbuster title, a videogame based on the franchise follows, and both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS are being treated to Iron Man titles. Today, SEGA gives us our first glimpse at the portable version."

X-Box Live will get a demo for Iron Man on April 18th. Sega puts the demo for the PSN version as 'soon' to be released.

Also, with a new demo, comes a new trailer.

"Speaking to the Financial Times, Riccitiello said "The buzz in Hollywood, which I heard from some Hollywood folks...is people are worried whether Iron Man the movie is going to get killed by Grand Theft Auto the game."

"It feels like what movie moguls might have seen in the 1920s and said: 'Hey, we've got talkies now, where is it going?'" he continued, "I feel like we've stepped through a time window where our games are so compelling and seem so real.""

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. The same saying goes for the PSP. It's already made big waves this year with God of War: Chains of Olympus and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, but don't think for a second that it's done pulling the punches yet!

PSP Blogger takes a look at some of the titles still planned for the PSP in 2008. Among these are a few new games, but there's also a few older ones coming out via the Playstation Store.

As previously announced, Iron Man is nothing without his suits, and it is, pretty much what makes him. So now that we're getting more details on the suits, it's nothing to be surprised about.

Unfortunately the videos that accompany the info are yet to be uploaded, but they'll be uploaded eventually... (well the ones showing the PS3 and XBOX360 exclusive suits will). But till then read on the the images and the information.

Also note that whilst I've only attached a couple of the suit i...

On the spot gets a video demonstration of movie game Iron Man. It looks very good, actually. You see cut scenes from the game as well as an explanation of what you can change on his suit. This looks like it might be a decent movie game, for once.

"One of the greatest opportunities we had as the creators of the Iron Man video game was that, more than any other Super Hero, Iron Man's capabilities are constantly evolving. This ongoing evolution gave us the unique opportunity to do the same thing with our videogame super hero.

In looking through Iron Man's long history, we pulled out what we thought were the main elements of his iconic suit – the elements that players would be able to individually upgrade over the course of the game. We..."

Developed by Sega, Iron Man will be released for every system (PC included) on May 2, a couple of days after the release of the film (April 30). Robert Downey Jr., Terence Howard and Shaun Toub will provide voice acting, on top of performing their roles in the movie. Downey will play the main character Tony Stark, Howard will play Lt. Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, and Toub adopt the character of Yinsen. A ton of screenshots can be found on IGN.

While BioShock scooped the Spike VGA 'Game of the Year' gong, and the likes of Super Mario Galaxy and Rock Band both did well during the evening's awards, the popular celeb-infested event also threw up a raft of World Premiere trailer exclusives, which you can see in just one click via M&C Gaming.

Expect to feast your eyes on Prototype, Borderlands, Iron Man, LittleBigPlanet, Afro Samurai, and more...

Iron Man [game] isn't coming to us for another year, but what they have thus far is enough to make you squeal. Well, maybe not, but it's still quite impressive for it's early stages. Straight off of Comic-Con, Iron Man looks to be the greatest Marvel movie franchise to date. Judge for yourself:

"Next May, Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will star in Iron Man, a film based off of the popular Marvel comic book superhero. And what would it a big budget Hollywood action film be without an accompanying videogame?

Behind closed doors, Sega and developer Secret Level (shouldn't these guys be working on the next-gen Golden Axe?) demoed an extremely early version of the game running on an Xbox 360. Hit the jump for my full impressions of the short demo that was cut even shorter when ..."
