Jagged Alliance

Jagged Alliance

Daav from NoobFeed.com saves up on the wallet rape for once and brings you a ton of MMO news, most of which is free to play. There are a ton of MMO's that don't seem like much, but these classic IP's might just do the trick. Also, check out A Closed world; a great LGBT oriented MMO. Spread the love.

NoobFeed.com reminds you all that cult strategy game Jagged Alliance is being revived by Kalypso. The modern day isometric game got a new trailer today, so peep it or get shot.

A new and updated Jagged Alliance has been announced by Kalypso Media, complete with the first few screens. Release is set for the latest quarter of this year.

"The Nintendo DS remake of the 1994 MS-DOS release, Jagged Alliance, has recently been made available in North America, though it seems that the European release has hit a rather critical stumbling block, according to report at Blend Games."

A nice few goodies for you to choose from this week -- Bionic Commando is looking pretty great, Terminator Salvation shows some promise (though taking out T-800s with shotguns and such doesn't seem very realistic or fun to us), UFC fans get the latest in the form of Undisputed, Nintendo launches Punch-Out!!, EA tries out the Wii excercise thing, and DS owners get some cool adventures.

Nothing huge to speak of this week, though a few things out of the ordinary have turned up, like Crysis: Maximum Edition, which houses the original Crysis, side-story Crysis Warhead, and the latter game's multiplayer mode Crysis Wars.

Besides that, Wii owners are treated to a remake of the solid platformer Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, and DS owners can experience the classic Jagged Alliance, a Fallout/Shadowrun-ish game which got its start on PC many years ago.
