Following on from the recent slew of HD re-releases, it is perhaps about time that everybody's favorite ottsel and pixie man make their splash on the PS3. GameInformer, the popular magazine about all things gaming that has somewhere near three million subscribers, always has a different game on the cover each time. MTV wanted to see if there was a GI cover curse, so they looked back into the past and pulled out magazines from 2-3 years ago.

One game titled Superman Returns didn't so well, receiving 6/10's. That's nothing compared to Fear and Respect, which was at one point on a GI cover, but ended up being canceled!

Uncharted, one of the best games of 2007 for the PS3 is just crying for a sequel and it appears a Easter egg (or a egg of some kind) has possibly revealed what the discoverer believes is the location for the second game. The secret treasure found in the game bares a startling resemblance to the precursor orbs in the Jak and Daxter games (Naughty Dog's previous franchise) and when translated reads "Naughty Dog Manmad"

A Google search brings up manmad as a city in India. Coincidence?

When talking to Naughty Dog's co-president Evan Wells, he talked about how Uncharted has been designed to become a first title in a franchise so more title will be in the works soon. He also talk about the Jak & Daxter franchise and mentioned that the possibility's of a sequel would be looked upon sometime in the future.
