Nintendo of America finally rings in the new year by giving the North American Virtual Console it's first update of 2008, adding two new games to the Virtual Console.

The first game in this update is cult favorite Star Tropics. Although a Zelda clone, it has enjoyed status as a cult favorite, and is regarded as a good game. In other words, don't dismiss it because it's a clone.
