According to Square Enix, the Kingdom Hearts series has topped 14 million units shipped worldwide so far since it started with the original title on the Playstation 2 in 2002.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Tetsuya Nomura provided several new tidbits about which direction will the popular Kingdom Hearts series head off to next.
"Here, Nomura shared a surprising secret about Sora's birth. The character's original design was more beast-like -- somewhat like a mix of a lion and human. He had a tail and beast-like ears. Instead of his keyblade weapon, he used a chainsaw. These beast-like features were implemented in order to make the character match the Disney characters.

Sony has pulled a brilliant move by re-releasing a the God of War series on Blu-Ray. Featuring HD and trophy support. The game will be released some time before the 3rd installment to help build up hype. This is a great move that a lot of other companies should follow.
