Looks like stores are starting to clear our PSP games. Gamestop has several of the best PSP Rpgs for $10 or less. This includes 3rd Birthday, Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy 1, Lord of Arcana and Knights of the Nightmare. Most of these games are $9 used. Goozernation has the full details.

"All-in-all Knights in the Nightmare is a fun game with a unique battle system that is sure to entertain gamers for hours at a time. Considering that the controls were originally made for the Nintendo DS the PSP version controls well with the analog and being able to switch from Law and Chaos by using the right bumper makes for a smooth transition between modes. The only drawback is that at times it can get tiresome repeating the same battle turn after turn.

Visually the game looks good, no..."

"Knights in the Nightmare’s story is a bleak and sad one, as the kingdom of Aventheim has essentially been destroyed from within by evil forces and inner conflicts.

Originally the gameplay on the DS version had the player using the stylus to move the “wisp” around the screen to command the allied characters on a grid type battle system while also having to dodge “bullets” that the enemy shoots which damage your wisp when it is struck.

Instead of using the stylus however gamers will inst..."

Atlus, while not having a booth at next week's show, announced 4 new games that will be hitting North America. They are:

Trine 2 (undisclosed platform, developed by Frozenbyte)
Rock of Ages (undisclosed platform, developed by ACE Team)
Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City (DS)
Knights in the Nightmare (PSP)

They teased additional announcements, but definitely confirmed these four titles.

As part of their Cheers & Tears feature for the summer, IGN's next segment takes a look at 5 strategy games on the DS (which there are plenty of) you should play and another 5 to avoid. The cheers section is comprised of Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Knights in the Nightmare, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, Age of Empires: Mythologies, and Lock's Quest. The tears section contains Shogun Empires, Steel Horizon, The Seetlers, Command & Destroy, and Desktop Tower Defense. Notably absent from the c...

"Knights in the Nightmare is what it says on the tin in terms of plot guidance; it tells the tale of many knights, living in a nightmare, most of them dead. The plot itself is extremely loose and you will find yourself unavoidably confused within minutes of play, as each chapter in the game keeps going backward in time, introducing characters who are presented as if you have been playing the game as them for several hours. I pressed on through the first few chapters until I was totally confuse..."

Atlus seems to have hit a gold mine with Knights in the Nightmare. After surfing around the internet for the better part of the previous month collecting information regarding the game, I don't recall anybody ever criticizing it, other than some minor concerns about the depth and difficulty. RPGamer's review supports the opinions found on message boards and forums.

With the game hitting store shelves in North America tomorrow, RPG enthusiasts and fellow gamers might want to check out RPGam...

Atlus announces it has forged a partnership with developer Sting (responsible for the Baroque series, Riviera, Yggdra Union AND Knights in the Nightmare) to become the exclusive publisher of their titles. They'll also handle all of the marketing for Sting's future releases.

This effectively ends Sting's own publishing duties in Japan. Atlus USA was already responsible for releasing for most of Sting's most recent titles in North America, so it's not like the two companies just happened u...

Atlus USA continues to keep the game announcement train rolling, announcing in a press release and an email sent to its Atlus Faithful mailing list today that the publisher has obtained the North American rights to publish Sting Entertainment's DS title Knights in the Nightmare.

The fourth game (but third title) in Sting's Dept. Heaven series, Knights in the Nightmare provides a unique gameplay experience: it's one part strategy RPG, one part real time strategy, and one part shoot-em-up wi...

New screenshots of Sting's upcoming Strategy RPG, Knights in the Nightmare have reached the internet after its official site has been redesigned in advance of its release next week. It is the 4th episode of the Dept. Heaven series. Some of the staff that worked on Yggdra Union returns for this game.

In Knights of the Nightmare, the player controls a wisp with the stylus, which moves around and possess knights: this is how commands are given to allied units. However, the wisp will always...
