Kung Fu Panda

""In video game discussions, you’ll hear all sorts of terms being tossed around to describe a game’s social standing. “Overrated” someone will say, as they describe the latest Call of Duty and make the claim that it doesn’t deserve all its praise. “Underrated” someone will say, as they describe the latest Animal Crossing title and claim that people should appreciate it more, or that they simply just “don’t get it”. Then there’s a lesser-used term: “Under the radar”.""

"Busy morning of updates today on Xbox Live as we not only saw the release of a system update that adds USB storage support but the opening up of the Blur multiplayer to everyone on Xbox Live as well. But the updates don't stop there as we also get Fable II and Kung Fu Panda added to the Games on Demand service."

"That the Kung Fu Panda videogames have been commercial successes is not open to debate, with each of the multiple releases on near every format having proven itself in the videogame retail charts on numerous occasions, both at full price and as budget releases. With such a strong reputation obviously having grown amongst consumers, you’d be forgiven for assuming that Kung Fu Panda may act adversely of the opinion that videogame adaptations of motion-picture releases, by-and-large, are inferio..."

"Kung Fu Panda Had The Best Video Game Animation Of 2008. Conversation Over.

Kung Fu Panda? Says who? Says the International Animated Film Society, that's who. The video game based on Dreamworks Animation's movie of the same name just scored an Annie, beating out Dead Space and Wall·E."

"So, what of the Wii for the future? At Nometet.com we hope that game developers will wise up to what’s good about the Wii, and make a game where you can wave your Wiimote about and make your own moves, where you can use the balance board to shift the centre of gravity of your character, leading to a sweet game not unlike Mirror’s Edge only a lot more advanced. We predict said game will arrive at the same time as the nuclear apolocalypse. Or when people stop worrying about Sarah Palin. The apo..."

Microsoft is really trying to make the 360 a more attractive buy for people this holiday, now they will be bundling the 360 with extra games at no extra cost. The $299 Premium and $399 Elite will come with Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, and Kung Fu Panda. And the $199 Arcade will came with Sega Superstars Tennis on top of the five Xbox Live Arcade titles that already come with it.

These holiday bundles will take effect later in the year, but take note that these bundles have ...

Have you ever noticed how most games based on movies tend to be not so great? Even when the movie was really good, and there is huge potential for an awesome game, the potential doesn't shine through, and the games come out seeming lower than average. Part of the reason is that game makers often want to have it out the day or close to whenever the movie airs, selling more copies. Edge Online talks about some reasons why these games tend to be subpar.

Another week has passed, which means it's time for some Australian game sales!
