Rockstar and Team Bondi have release another trailer entitled, "Rising Through the Ranks." Unlike others, it details how Cole Phelps rises up to detective.

"L.A. Noire Trailer 3 sheds more light on Phelps’ experiences rising through the ranks of the LAPD. Upon landing at the more glamorous Vice desk, he discovers illegal gambling, corruption within the force, as well as investigating a shipment of government-issued morphine killing junkies even as it causes problems for the town’s most notorious mobsters. "The Rockstar Games blog posted an incredible video piece on Team Bondi's MotionScan technology which works from 360 degrees to capture 100 percent of the actors' facial movements from all angles.

Have a look, it is easy to spot the difference to traditional animation. It seems almost too real, causing a reverse uncanny valley since the faces look so real versus the environments."

"Critical Gamer writes: The first L.A. Noire trailer has finally shown its face and gives us plenty of good cop, bad cop detective work in Rockstar’s latest and relatively unknown project.

The game, set in a 1940s re-created Los Angeles, gives players the challenge of solving murders, old school style. It certainly looks to take a slightly less glamorous approach than CSI Miami."
