Not too much to note this week, though a couple of gems stand out: Suda 51's (No More Heroes, Killer 7) Flower, Sun and Rain on DS, and Let's Tap, an innovative game set from Yuji Naka's (Sonic) Prope studio.

The latter game utilizes a control scheme whereby the Wii controller is placed on a flat surface in order to detect small vibrations; tapping the surface, then, serves as your input.

Sega has announced that there will be a soundtrack for their Prope-developed title, Let's Tap for the Wii. This soundtrack will be released on February 25, 2009 and will retail for 2625 yen. Contained in the album will be the game's twenty Rhythm Tapping songs, all catchy in their own right. Also included is a special Tap Runner song. An embargo had been lifted on one of Sega's games at midnight earlier tonight, with the unveiling of the localization of the title from Sonic creator Yuji Naka's Prope studio: Let's Tap for the Nintendo Wii. Coming packed with and utilizing an orange box, Let's Tap is a game collection based on the tapping of the box to play one of five available games and modes.

At the Nintendo Fall Press Conference today, Nintendo announced that they will be rereleasing some GameCube classics under a new label: "Wii de Asobu Selection" roughly translated by Chris Kohler as "Games You Can Play on Wii Selection". One of these games will include Pikmin.

Also revealed was a new game from Sonic Team creator Yuji Naka's studio, called "Let's Tap".
