Lineage II

Lineage II

It seems as though this world wide recession is really hitting a lot of people hard. It was announced today that Lineage will be shutting down their servers soon. Check out the full details after the break.

By now, you've probably heard that a Hawaii man is suing NCsoft for making Lineage II too addictive. Succumbing to what apparently is the mother of all time sinks, this guy couldn't help but play 11 hours a day... for five years! Well here is a list of things more addictive than Lineage II.

In another example of pathetic people making pathetic lawsuits Craig Smallwood might take the cake. After playing Lineage II for over 20,000 hours has finally realised that he has no life and wants to sue the creators of the game, NCSoft. Apparently getting dressed, bathing and speaking to his family and friends suffered due to his addiction and wants NCSoft to pay up for not babysitting him.
With a last name like Smallwood who can really blame him for being such a d-bag?

"The Public Test Server will be down for maintenance and a wipe at 3:00 PM Central Time (9:00 PM GMT +1) today, April 25, 2008. The test server is currently scheduled to return next week. We will post more details (date and time) as soon as they are available.

Thank you everyone who helped us test the Hellbound update!"

NC Soft has announced a special 'Collector's Edition' of Lineage II today, for its European players. The CE will feature soundtrack, artbook, two special in-game items, and fifty random boxes will include a golden ticket that can be turned in for a special Dark Elf figure. The CE goes on sale April 25th. Lineage II has over 10 million users worldwide.

It was announced previously that NC Soft would be developing games EXCLUSIVELY for Sony. This has brought about many questions, which have been shortly answered by Robert Garriott, the President of NCsoft North America. Taking some time out his busy time during E3, he spoke to Robert Summa of GGL.
