Nintendo today revealed a new hardware sales milestone for the Nintendo Wii in the U.S. in addition to unveiling the top 10 best-selling first and third party games on the system so far.

"Speaking with GAMES magazine, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma recently revealed plans for a sequel to "Link's Crossbow Training". Unfortunately for fans of that title, the project has been put on hold for the sake of the next main series entry.

A guy made a video on YouTube doing what I remember GameTrailers did quite a while ago, explaining the Zelda timeline. This guy did a complete job imo, very well done, and should be watched. However, he has received a response from Nintendo about this timeline saying.. there is no timeline. I've included the original video and the response in the quote.

Apparently, the highly acclaimed Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was going to be a first-person perspective game, so they could "spend more time and machine power on creating enemies and the environments." It really makes you wonder if it still would have been such a great game. They decided to go ahead and use bits and pieces from the storyline in Link's Crossbow Training, a third-person/first-person shooter.
