"Regardless of whether or not you believe in a magical sky wizard who has the power to fulfill or crush your hapless human dreams in a split second solely because you loved said mythological deity with all your heart or glanced too long at your best friend’s significant other a moment too long, there is no arguing that a significant portion of humanity unfortunately believes that this Saturday may be the end of this little planet’s journey spinning hazardously through the galactic cosmos. "Side-scrollers are a genre that might be limited due to being on a flat plain, but developers have experimented with them enough to make some amazing titles. This generation has been great at keeping side-scrollers alive: the following titles are among the best this generation has to offer."

"If you’re wondering how Sony will tackle PSP development once its next handheld is released, look no further than the way the publisher handled its aging consoles. Unlike Wii and Xbox 360, which killed off their predecessors the day they were released, the arrival of PlayStation 3 didn't spell doom for PS2. To keep the old brand alive while paving the way for the future, Sony chose to release its primary sequels and start new franchises on PS3, but lowered the price of PS2 while pushing mains..."

Brian Moreno is a film, video and photography professional, and also a big fan of LittleBigPlanet as well as Lady GaGa, it seems. In keeping with that he's combined the two in this video, giving us an LBP version of the latest single, "Bad Romance."

It doesn't hold up to the South Park rendition of Poker Face, but hey, it's a decent excuse to play some Lady GaGa.

What better way to establish a console or game company then through its mascot. With the Xbox 360 having received a price-drop prior to the weekend and many retailers still carrying stock of the PLAYSTATION 3 unit, it comes as little surprise to find that the high street stands as a very competitive arena currently."

So far, there haven’t been many pay to play LittleBigPlanet level packs made on the PlayStation Store. The Metal Gear Solid Level Pack pack comes to mind, which was a well designed set of levels. Perhaps, Sony plans to sell professionally designed level packs as DLC for the PSP version."

"Alex Evans: Well, that's the thing - and this isn't me fobbing you off - but Sony sets the price point on the online side of things, so I don't know what that's going to be. But I do know that I really want us to see different online routes into LBP.

That's no great news, but what I think is cool is that LBP can afford to experiment a bit more - for example, we're getting on for 2 million levels that have been published now. If you look at online distribution for LBP, when the sequel comes..."

During last year’s Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced that Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid are coming to the Playstation 3 exclusive, LittleBigPlanet. "Silent protagonists, or for those who haven’t been properly acquainted with the English language; quiet heroes, aren’t exactly a common product of modern video games. However some have become famous for the lack of verbal engagement, whereas some would argue that it doesn’t create an extra axis of mystery to the character, but only renders them as bland and unimportant. Here is a small list of 5 silent protagonists in modern gaming, and how their silence altered how the game was perceived on ..."

"I purchased LittleBigPlanet back on November 5th when the game was finally launched after some undeserved controversy over quotations in one of the game’s in-game songs from the Quran. I had been in the beta and was absolutely gobsmacked by how playable, fun and charming the game was. Now, a good half-a-year down the line and I’m still a regular visitor to LittleBigPlanet, so are many other millions of people out there, but why? Here are my top three reasons:"

"Data patches contain new costume data, allowing you to see those costumes when you’re playing online, for example.

We were expecting to see some new DLC costumes this week and a much anticipated Killzone 2 ‘pack-thing’. We’re not exactly sure as nothing specific was announced, but we know that there will definitely be two much anticipated Killzone costumes (Sev and Helghast)."

When LittleBigPlanet was first released, it was hailed as the game that will finally pull the PS3 out of last place, give Sony a marketable franchise, and generally rock one's socks off. However, hindsight is 20/20, and looking back at the game now the question must be asked: Does LBP have staying power, or has the gimmick of user-created content worn off?

Recently Sony announced a slew of new titles for the PSP, including franchises like Assassin's Creed, LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm and Rock Band. But according to PSP head of marketing John Koller this was only the half of it, and they have heaps more coming later, that this was just to whet our appetites a bit. Essentially this means more new games on the way, maybe for PSP and PS3.

"Isn't playing video games the language of love? What's that you say? Is isn't? Well, it should be, because we can hardly think of a better way to spend Valentine's Day - that's this Saturday, for the uninformed - than by playing video games. Of course, being a social event that you should be enjoying with your spouse or boy/girlfriend, you'll have to make sure that the game you're playing is interesting for the other party, whether they be taking part or not. This week Yahtzee takes on LittleBigPlanet. Does he think it's all it's cracked up to be? And on an unrelated note; watch out for the Watchmen reference!

[ Discussion in the LittleBigPlanet Forum ]

One of the minor disappointments with LittleBigPlanet was the inability to create levels with others online, being announced shortly before the game was released. However a patch finally appears to be on the way to add this much wanted feature, leaked when a whiteboard with Media Molecules schedule was seen in one of their many photos streams. Other stuff is also shown, including the mention of some tutorials and an arcade pack.

The nicknamed 'Edam' patch for LittleBigPlanet, officially the 1.08 update has come early, and maybe with different content. As shown here a lot of downloadable content is on the way and there are rumors this is to get the LittleBigStore ready for all the coming DLC.

Unfortunately it is true, the mystery downloadable content for LittleBigPlanet dated for the 22nd has been pushed back. However as a sorry present Media Molecule have revealed the content of all the upcoming DLC for the the next few weeks. From costumes and sticker packs ranging from free to priced all is shown. Go the source for the list.

"I am sure that everybody, at some point in their lives, has been playing a videogame and suddenly found themselves questioning the sexual preferences of the characters involved. Ultimately, one finds one's self asking the final and most pressing question of all -- is that character a dom or a sub?"

The top list of games sold this week has been released.

Wii - Wii Fit was in the top 3 of all regions. Mario Kart Wii and Wii Play were up in the top as well.

Xbox 360 - Call of Duty: World at War was at the top of North America and Europe, along with Gears of War 2. In Japan, Race Driver: GRID and Fallout 3 came out on top.

Playstation 3 - Littlebigplanet finished number one in both Europe and North America. Fallout 3 did well in Europe and Japan, as did Call of Duty: World at Wa...

"If we think about LittleBigPlanet, Age of Conan or Mirror’s Edge, we notice they have two things in common: very successful and well received demo versions (or beta stages) and very poor, lower than anticipated game sales. And since these are not the only titles in which a demo (or the lack of it) appears to be connected with their commercial success, I believe we should analyze the influence demos have in the game world and debate: are game demos game killers?"

"Fanboys have been plaguing the Internet for quite some time with their silly propaganda, heinous slander, & a laggard intellect that leaves the rest of us sane humans flabbergasted at the fact that these are the type of people we not only have to deal with on forums or blogs, but also in person typically at retailers where I purchase my games from. I just don't understand the logic behind being a fanboy, I mean the way I see it it's a lose lose situation. These companies do not compensate you..."

"6:00 AM - Romp through the garden with your pets.
Slightly obvious imo: Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise, of course there is the sad chance it could be one of those many many (many) Ubisoft Petz games

8:00 AM - A PS3 game that dreams are made of.
A couple of choices here that all kind of make sense: LittleBigPlanet, Eternal Sonata, SingStar

11:00 AM - This should hold you over on Xbox 360 until Final Fantasy XIII releases.
These two Square games come to ..."

The MGS4 map pack for LittleBigPlanet was in my opinion a huge success, and I'm sure many others like me are eagerly awaiting more. The latest issue of "Sack it to me- The Holiday Hangover Edition" explains that more Downloadable content will be arriving starting on the 22nd of January. As well as another patch to fix some minor bugs and glitches.

"In years past, NeoGAF has done their favorite moments in gaming, using only MS Paint to show you. Looking back at 2008 brings us some of the coolest moments, great memories that can look amusing to just plain epic, even when in Paint. I purposely left out the names of the games as half the fun is guessing (but if you can’t figure it out, right click and hit properties to see the file name where I put the game)."

"Let’s not forget about the console wars! There are sale charts, there are fanboys slamming other fanboys’ data, there are all sorts of ways to “decide” the winner of the console wars… One of them is, of course, checking the exclusive games and that’s exactly what we’re planning to do now. So, the battle is on: PS3 vs. Xbox 360 vs. Wii – which console has the best exclusives?"

Patrick Klepek of multiplayerblog.mtv.com blogs about his unfortunate tale. He packed himself ready these Christmas holidays, he was ready to spend two weeks destroying his wrists, but he ended up doing absolutely no gaming at all! With this he poses the question, is he the only one?

"As we all know, the one thing that sets videogames apart from other forms of media is interactivity. Being the catalyst for your own adventure is something that makes gaming more interesting to me than any movie or book. With videogames, one can stop being a mere passive observer and actually be a part of the action.

That said, if there's one thing I may have done more than playing videogames, it's watching videogames. Whether patiently waiting for my turn or being astounded by the skills..."

Sony and Media Molacule are smart enough not to release costumes replicating characters that Sony doesn't own. But that doesn't stop user's from trying their hardest to create their favourite characters. Well it seems like Marvel isn't' to happy with. A member from LittleBigWorkshop posted a picture of his "the Thing' character and later received an email from Marvel saying he infringed their copyright material. It seems to me like some one has their panties on too tight.

"It’s the eleventh day of Christmas today, and that means it’s time for the eleventh instalment in The Twelve Games of Christmas. A feature series running every day on the twelve days of Christmas here at Electronic Theatre, The Twelve Games of Christmas aims to highlight the top performers of 2008 month-by-month, and help you decide what you should be picking-up in those January sales!"

MediaMolecule, as it were, have been toying with first and third person versions of LittleBigPlanet, effectively proving the versatility of the game's engine. No screenshots or anything, but according to IGN, it "looks amazing".

This has been an issue for LBP creators out there. Fear that that their level will be deleted because of copyright infringement. IGN conducted an interview with the dev's and in some surprising news, some companies actually like that gamers are making their games and doing it so well. They also touch up with Media Molacules reaction to the high criticism of the game and how people have made sackboy and icon.

"After 12 months of playing and enjoying as many games as possible, it’s time to take a break, look back and choose the best of the best - the best 10 games of the year 2008. As you can imagine, it’s a really tough mission, especially because the overall quality of the games released this year was pretty high (there were exceptions, of course), but we must choose the game of the year here, at the Unigamesity!"

2008 had tons of crazy moments in the world of gaming, and EuroGamer has decided to run through the events that happened from July all the way to December. They include the E3 conferences, the new 160 GB PS3, and Wii Music.

To check out the months before, click here.

"The Metal Gear Solid Level Pack for LittleBigPlanet introduces a new costume, 5 new story levels, a new challenge level, along with tons of new stickers and gadgets to enjoy."

Word has been hitting the net that sales for LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2, have been to put it plainly, crap. However a recent update in the sales department reveals quiet differently. LittleBigPlanet has knocked Call of Duty: World at War off the number 1 selling PS3 game, with Resistance 2 following it at a close third. This seems a far cry from the news that both are falling flat on their faces.

Not only will LittleBigPlanet receive a Metal Gear Solid Costume pack, but it will also receive a MGS 'Level Pack', which comes with all that is mentioned below all of the below too!

All of this is coming to the NA PSN Store on the 23rd of December. The costumes will cost $1.99 each or $5.99 for all 4, whilst the 'Level Pack' $5.99 too. And the best part is, that you don't even need to own to the levels to be able to play them!

So the gang here has held elections and are announcing our picks for games of the year. I am a bit disappointed some of my picks including Valkyria Chronicles (sleeper of the year IMHO), Braid, Mirrors Edge and The Witcher Collectors Edition didn't make the list along with Dead Space and an honorable mention for the episodic format of SIREN on PSN. That said, seeing Fallout 3 at # 1 made my year! GOTY folks, truly is.

Some games, like the prime example LittleBigPlanet, are greatly reliant on a certain thing to be successful. This is user created content, creating a whole new meaning for sharing a video game. It seems, however, that the companies are doing some rather controversial things leading to upset. Is user created content going into a dark place?

  • Two new Costumes – Christmas Tree headpiece and a Wrapped Sackboy.
  • One new Create Material = Wrapping Paper (cardboard w/ giftwrap texture).
  • Two new Objects = A Festive Sleigh and holiday themed light.
  • Six new Decorations = A Festive Bauble, Bell, Wrapping Bow, Candy Cane, Card and Stocking.

  • So far those playing LittleBigPlanet haven't seen much in the way of interesting content. A few minor patches and some costumes, both free and priced have appeared, but hardly stuff which will keep you coming back to the game. Alex Evans of Media Molecule however at the awards said that there is going to be more to the packs than people have so far thought, that they will be very substantial. Pray this means new objects, new trophies and new materials, because I'm sure most of the community w...

I'll be honest. This post is apt to be all over the map. There's so much that could be said and yet so little that has been said about LittleBigPlanet that I'm at a loss for where to begin. I've been trying to hone my thoughts on the game into something bloggable for more than a month now, but a recent post by Michael Abbott got me teary-eyed at the thought of little neglected sackpersons crying ..."

I have seen different articles on LittleBigPlanet being a flop and others saying it definitely isn't a flop because of it's late October release. Well now Gamasutra has come through with the numbers. I wouldn't call the game a flop by any means, but it is now definitely hard to say the game is selling well with these numbers (especially during the holiday season)

"The arguments between Xbox 360 and PS3 fanboys are usually centered on games exclusive to one console or another. Each faction gets a thrill out of seeing the other console's exclusives tank in reviews or sales. LittleBigPlanet has been sneered at for less-than-stellar sales but for the sake of gaming, even Xbox 360 owners should hope the game rakes in a lot of money for Sony this holiday season."

"When we sit down for a round of gaming with our console or PC of choice, we're usually on the look-out for extreme action, non-stop thrills and a sophisticated story. One thing we never expected to see was sex. But as the average age of the gaming audience grows ever higher, interactive entertainments are tackling more grown-up topics like the beast with two backs in a variety of different ways. Some games play it for humor, some use it as a plot motivator, and others let you fornicate just f..."

"Sony seemed to put enough interest into the game to promote it as the next mascot-based title for the PlayStation brand. However, things didn't seem to look quite as grand when the NPD results were released, and LittleBigPlanet looked more like a single-A title rather than a triple-A system seller."

Articles have been showing up all over the Internet saying LittleBigPlanet sales flopped compared to the games that came out around the same time period. Well it turns out that the game actually...Didn't. Right now it it has sold between 100K-200K in the UK alone. The UK has about 1/3 off all video game sales in Europe. Combine the sales from Europe, Japan and America the games is on its way to 1 million sales.

While many Wii owners will be salivating over Animal Crossing: City Folk because there really isn’t anything else, and while every Xbox 360 owner over the age of 13 will be playing “Horde” online in Gears of War 2, the PlayStation 3 was poised to offer the most innovative title of the year in LittleBigPlanet. The problem is, no one is buying it.

MyReviewPoint examines 3 reasons why Media Molecule's inaugural title may have been better suited to release on the Wii versus Sony's PlayStation 3.

Charles Sharam of destructoid.com has done a blog in an attempt to show us that game self-made enjoyment doesn't have to be complicated. It doesn't have to be fancy mods or levels, not at all.

The ultimate example? Picking your name in the classic game, Pokemon Red. By adding small bits of personalization to a game, you can create a world which is entirely your own to enjoy. The combination of reality and your imagination can really lead to some fun gaming.

No more then 3 weeks in and Littlebigplanet is already having troubles. It seems that moderators are deleting levels which they believe violate the copyright agreement. It is quite ridiculous as some levels that are created from an authors favourite game are being deleted without warning. Get this, even a level based on the ps3 was deleted. All that hard work wasted.

"Last month, we heard about a deal whereby Sony Australia would give away a free copy of LittleBigPlanet with every PS3 sold. It wasn't a bundle or anything, you'd pay what you normally pay for a PS3, and just get LittleBigPlanet for free. Well, that deal's now been expanded, with SCE Australia announcing that customers will, when buying a new PlayStation 3 console, be able to choose one of four games: LittleBigPlanet, SingStar Abba, MotorStorm 2 or Resistance 2."

"I’m not knocking that Boku won’t be an amazing piece of software, but 3D Game Studio also happened to be some amazing software, and so is Ray Dream Studio, but neither are as “easy-to-use” as any promotional ad might lead you to believe. I fear, this may be the same scenario with Boku."

A feature many people are upset that wasn't in the final game is uploading images from your HDD and using them as stickers in LittleBigPlanet. Well MM confirmed that the reason why was because of time constraint and that an update will be released sometime around Christmas that will add this feature.

Sackboy seems to be everywhere right now, whether in videogames, merchandise or TV. And now Sackboy is running for president! Well not really, however in a rather bizarre move Media Molecule (at least I hope its them, god help us if little puppets start coming to life and begin campaigns) are using Sackboy as a symbol to help gather support to help our solar system's real LittleBigPlanet (Pluto) be reclassified as a planet. Watch the campaign advertisement below.

The third episode of the "Sackboy in the Wild" LittleBigPlanetpromotional trailers is up on Media Molecule's site. This one explores the creative aspect of the PS3 title informing viewers on the mechanics of the game in a funny and entertaining way. Just like the game itself LittleBigPlanet this documentary like video is full of the style, so spend a few minutes watching it, you won't be disappointed.

It now seems that information on DLC for Little Big Planet has been announced by Sony themselves, I guess just in time for the completed release of the game around the world. At prices of $1.99 for both Sackiroth and Old Sack some would argue whether it is worth it or not. Definitely though if you are looking to stand out in the crowd then getting this lot of DLC is inevitable.

"Following this introduction, the player is placed in his pod and unleashed on the first levels of Story mode. Upon completing these levels, the player unlocks the rest of the game’s content. While the first three levels exist to teach the basics of playing the game, with each level becoming progressively more complicated in scope and length than the one it follows, the game never feels overwhelming. The death sequence is quick, and there are a plethora of respawn points scattered throughou..."

"Not sure if you caught it this past weekend, but our own little SackBoy was zipping (pun intended) around the track as part of the NASCAR Nationwide Series, thanks to our friends at GameStop. SackBoy declined the post-race interview in order to greet his two biggest fans, "Walker" and "Texas Ra..."

"According to Sony Computer Entertainment Japan's website, three sackboys will be available as DLC on October 30, including a pumpkin head, which kinda reminds me of Merv in The Sandman.

The other two sackboys include the Piposaru (Ape Escape) sackboy, and the Astronaut suit.

I would love to see a Jack Skellington sackboy for Halloween. Or even better, Jack Skellington in a Santa suit for Christmas! I have the sudden urge to play Kingdom Hearts again."

"Wait, really high-profile, console exclusive games get sequels? It's a bit of a "dog bites man" story but worth noting nonetheless. LBP2's in its very early stages so there's no actual information on the game but one would hope that it will possess backward compatibility with user-created content from LBP."

As if the fact that one person complaining turned into a army of Muslim's up in arms wasn't far enough from the truth, now the media can't even distinguish one game from another. Obviously confusing LittleBigPlanet with Spore (god knows how that happened) Tracy Simmons was apparently told by a coworker that you start by creating a single cell organism and watched it evolve. Which anyone who even half way knows the game will tell you is bogus.

"Mandatory installs come from complications developers meet when switching from DVD to Blu-ray. Blu-rays have more space, but they have a different way of reading data that causes longer loading times when given exactly the same data DVDs use. Installs fix the problem, at a cost, but alternative methods are being devised. Fallout 3 has enough space on the Blu-ray disc to copy the game's assets over more than once on the disc, which reduces load times significantly. This kind of innovation is n..."

"Though the initial report from Media Molecule following the delay of the once Qur'an-infused platformer, LittleBigPlanet, was that the title would now be dropping during the week of October 27, dozens of readers have sent in tips reporting that GameStop's lovable customer service robot, Aeris, recently called to say the title would be in North American stores October 25. For those still recovering from a start-of-weekend bender, that's today."

On Metacritic, one of the Playstation 3's big titles LittleBigPlanet has an unusually low user-score of 6.4/10, compared to the positive 95% the game has recieved from professional reviewers. According to various game sites, it appears as though Xbox 360 fanboys are on the attack, giving the game ridiculously low user-scores and negative comments.

To retaliate, Playstation 3 fanboys have targetted Gear of War 2, with over 1319 users giving the game an overall score of 2.5/10 (and it's stil...

For all the fuss and curiosity provoked by the LittleBigPlanet delay, Multiplayer has taken it upon themselves to see the issue explained. Is music forbidden ("Haram") to be combined with words from the Qur'an? Why is it offensive? Everything is answered for those who had their interest piqued.

With the economy crashing down and people losing their jobs, gamers in October and Christmas won't be able to buy that extra game they could before. With so many highly anticipated games coming out, (LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, etc) you probably won't be able to play every one you want.

Whenever you scrounge up some extra money for games, is it really worth playing if you can't experience it to the fullest?

GameDaily is a video gaming site like any other from a casual view. Reviews, news and editorials all delivering information to the gaming community. However some recent shoddy reviews have left the staff in a sticky point indeed. In a recent a Socom: Confrontation review the game had a number of points raised against it, most notably a lack of quick weapon change and the inability to set a timer on a game. However a player of the game has come forth and attacked Robert Workman's facts. Having...

Video showing LittleBigPlanet being plugged on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross show in the UK. Very funny clip that is a must watch, and includes Ricky Gervais, also the other guests on this episode were Sarah Silverman and Gordon Ramsay.

Remember that person who complained about the song from LittleBigPlanet with words from the Qur'an in it? Well, looks like he had good reason. One Muslim group seems to be pissed about the song's inclusion in the game's soundtrack, although Sony has already delayed the game so the song can be removed.

NSider, the NeoGAF member apparently the complainer of the Qur'an phrases present in the LittleBigPlanet's music, has officially apologized to the gaming community. Saying he never actually expected Sony or Media Molecule to anything so soon or so drastically. Expecting a quiet patch a few weeks into the games release. I don't know about the rest of you but apology accepted on my behalf. Though it doesn't really affect me since I can't get it until the 30th anyway.

So far, Sackboy and LittleBigPlanet have been hyped up to major proportions and on October 27th, we'll see if it that will make or break the cute thing. This article explains in that order for Sackboy to take Mario's place, LBP needs to be a very successful game.

One of the interesting things about living in NYC are the small independently owned retail outlets that occasionally don't get the street date memo and release copies a little early. For those lucky enough to have a copy of LBP, know that you are holding a future collector's item, as I've received word that numerous outlets that are selling it are hiking up the price!

    27th of October.

And since the UK has an officially revised release date too, we're all set again.

And all is right with the world again.

"That LittleBigPlanet has received a worldwide delay has not gone unnoticed. While some territories are still awaiting news of a new release date, the UK has been lucky..."

"SCEE has just confirmed that LittleBigPlanet has slipped because “the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an” in one of the licensed background tracks, but has not supplied a new release date.

The game was previously scheduled for an October 24 release.

VG247 has learned that the game is already at retail in both the UK and other European countries.

Heavy speculation has surrounded a slip this afternoon.

Sony just issued a statement on the matter:

"Recently, a beta key for a little game called Little Big Planet fell into our gnarled little hands. After the resulting tussle, five torn and scratched fingers reached out of the bloody mess of limbs and eyeballs and claimed the prize. The victorious digits belonged to Brad Hilderbrand, one of our most prolific, and therefore arguably most jaded editors and game reviewers. A few days later, as we sat in front of our computers licking our wounds, we the less lucky got a letter from Brad, the c..."

"We get a little giddy every time we see Japanese people running in flocks in cities. No, it's not Godzilla. Heck, it's not even SackZilla -- this is the Japanese LittleBigPlanet ad, and it just screams "Gojira" to us. This is probably the beginning of a much bigger campaign. Let's hope that Sony finds some success in the Japanese market when selling this title."

The ability to upload videos directly from your PS3 to Youtube has been around for a month or two now. But its going to go into overdrive with the adding of the software to LittleBigPlanet. Coupled with the creativeness and endless possibilities of the game, chances are we're going to see some very entertaining videos. Also come November, LittleBigPlanet will have its own Youtube channel, and have some sort of promotion tied in with it.

LittleBigPlanet comes out in the US in exactly one week, but not everyone seems to want to play by the same rules. Not only is the game being reported to have been leaked through reviewers and stuffed up pre-orders but in the country of Kuwait the game is being sold openly by a store called Rehab Center. Or so a user on the PS3FORUMS claims.

"But mostly, we're just happy to see a flagship game for a modern system that's about running from left to right and jumping over things. New ideas are great, great old ideas are better, and LittleBigPlanet has both: it's the future and the past of videogames, rolled into one.

A insider has managed to get some snaps of the boxart for upcoming PS3 game LittleBigPlanet. Now for a long time any gamer interested in the title must know that the game will require a mandatory install to run, and this boxart when enhanced reveals just how much of your hardrive you'll need to clear out to accommodate the game. And guess what? It's a measly 600MB, as opposed to the usual 4-6GB. Makes you wonder what all those other developers are doing huh? There are also some images of trop...

I suppose in all the news, trailers and announcements coming from TGS this little entertaining trailer was lost in the shuffle, and once again this one makes me even more excited about LittleBigPlanet. In this trailer martial art dojo's are built, giant pilotable mechs driven and monster trucks are raced.

Sony has announced that the lucky Japanese citizens shall be receiving a LittleBigPlanet bundle, which includes a DualShock 3 controller. Check out the picture below.

The day has finally come for LittleBigPlanet fans. Announced through a new video, both Sephirorth and Solid Snake have been confirmed to be in LittleBigPlanet.

"Today, we are happy to announce that we have more beta keys to give away thanks to USATODAY.com. The competition is the same as last time - simply become a fan of our Facebook Page and we will choose a bunch of fans at random from our (virtual) hat."

Though he may be the co-founder of Media Molecule the company behind the genious that is LittleBigPlanet, he has no second thoughts about admitting that he finds the controls for the game "annoying", and hopes to have this "refined" after the game is released.

Are you one of the thousands in the LBP Beta? If so, do you agree with these comments? Be sure to share your view in the comments section.

You've really not seen everything till you've seen someone create a working albeit basic calculator in LittleBigPlanet. Well what's good about that you ask? Well just take a look at HOW it was created and how it works, and you'll be more than amazed.

Check out the video below, and be sure that you wont be disappointed. It may look like simple addition... but behind the scenes lurks something far more complex.

In what is truly a outstanding show of dedication and hard work a Japanese member of the LittleBigPlanet Beta has recreated the Final Fantasy X theme song in his very own level. The sheer amount of time and effort which must have gone into this level alone deserves a little recognition don't you think? View the video here or at the source.

Yet more bonuses are up for grabs if you pre-order the upcoming PS3 hit LittleBigPlanet at GameStop. As well as the already seen Kratos Sackboy skin two other skins, the 'Minotaur' and 'Medusa' skins as well as a new map pack are avaliable. View the ad below or at the source.

"I should point out that these are the top five games that have the most potential for being Halo, GTA IV and KillZone Killers via marketing, community support, critical praise and sales. It's possible any one of these titles could be as controversial as GTA IV, or as supported as KillZone 2, or as long lasting in popularity as Halo 3."

XTREME PS3 - a website where you can find all PS3 news - has obtained two LittleBigPlanet beta keys and have decided to give them away! The first will be shared on 10:00 PM GMT time, while the second will have the same time, but won't go until tomorrow.

Hit the source to find out how to enter.

So far we've seen various games recreated in the form of a LittleBigPlanet levels, but never before was a level such as this shown. It's no ordinary level, and it's not been created by an ordinary team. In what could be described as a colossal level, we see exactly what is possible with LittleBigPlanet.

For all those complaining that the levels seemed easy.. well complain no more. View the video at the source.

"Sony has stepped in to correct reports that LittleBigPlanet will be released as a PSN download alongside the Blu-ray version.
This Reuters piece claimed that Sony planned to release the game "both as a retail disc and as a digital download, through PlayStation Network".

This was news to the rest of the world - including Sony. A Sony UK rep told us this morning that the report is false and the game will only be released on Blu-ray."

G4 and GameTrailers have both revealed that they will be giving away some eagerly-wanted beta codes for the Action game titled LittleBigPlanet. Hopefully, their servers won't crash like some of these poor folk.

Hit the source to find out how you can obtain one.

With the game edging towards release, and with sites handing out free beta keys, it's not a surprise that the hype has surpassed even itself to a point where gamers have begun to sell the Beta keys on Ebay. And the prices are reaching $60, the same price at which the game will be released at.

Paul Hunter - a lucky man over at NextGen Player - has already gotten his hands on the SOCOM: Confrontation beta and has recently obtained the LBP one as well. He invites anyone with questions about either beta to leave a comment and hopefully, he can get back to you.

"If you happen to be one of the big sites planning on giving out beta keys for LittleBigPlanet this week - IGN, 1Up, Gametrailers- be afraid, be very, very afraid.

First, the rabid hordes brought Eurogamer.net crashing down, then 4,000+ of them suffered through an hour of Gamespot's laughably bad weekly TV show, "On The Spot" in an effort to score a code. All the while, they assaulted gaming forums spawning 100+ page threads in a matter of mere days (NeoGAF, I'm lookin' at you!)

Pelaajalehti.com recently held a poll for their people to decide the most beautiful video games of all time. Not all of the top ten received a warm welcome, with people believing many voters just chose their favourite or latest hype as opposed to the most beautiful games.

    Is it your top ten?

First, we had Shadow of the Colossus, then the RRoD, Mario 1-1, and now we have Halo 3!

A person who goes by the name of 'Danteneverdies' has made their very own Halo 3 "Finish the Fight" level on LittleBigPlanet. The whole thing was done really well, I suggest you check it out.

    "

    Officially the best game ever.
Don't take this video the wrong way, I wouldn't want to damage the games reputation (and that would be pretty damn hard, ahem). Of course, I didn't want to submit this in-game and instead saved it for the glory of YouTube and teh internets. But heck, someone had to confirm the TTC (Time To Cock) for Little Big Planet: About an hour and a half.
This video is just for fun, it's a classic, rather silly playground joke. Try not to get too worked up about it."

The Sun has recently published an interesting article concerning a character from LittleBigPlanet, Sackboy.

It stated that Nintendo has Mario, Sega has Sonic... and Sony has Sackboy!

That's right, Sackboy is predicted to become the console mascot. Is he your choice?

With LittleBigPlanet's amazing customizeable level options, somebody was bound to make the Mario 1-1 level sooner or later ...

"We all know how LittleBigPlanet is suppose to come out Oct 21, but according to an email directly from Sony via PlayStation Underground, it appears that it might be coming a couple weeks earlier then expected.

What do you think, typo? or early release?"

"I interviewed Leo Cubbin, one of LBP’s producers, today. I asked him what will happen to all the user created content when we replace the Beta version with the full game. The answer was what I feared: everything is lost!

I don’t know about you guys, but I treasure my levels and I don’t want to just lose them like that, so I tried to argue that they should allow us to move the content into the full game. Leo replied that maybe they’ll convert the best levels, but they can’t convert everything."

OPSM is the first to review LittleBigPlanet, and no shocker here, they praise the game. They love how simple it is to create a level and how fun the single player is. They say that the game is "It's in a league of its own and an experience that anyone with a PS3 would have to have a sack for brains to miss out on." They gave the game a score of 10/10

Bet that last part of the title got your attention huh? Another trailer is up showcasing the wonderful title that is LittleBigPlanet. Too many crazy things happen to mention them all but in what is sure to crack you up two Sackboy's dressed as a Pirate and a Ninja respectfully, vow to settle the question which has plagued gamers for centuries. Who would win between Pirates and Ninjas?

vE3tro has posted up their second edition of the LittleBigPlanet Beta gameplay videos, which feature a little bit of the infamous Rick Roll song and as you probably guessed, some pretty cool levels!

Part 1 can be found here. Videos are in the source.

October 21st in the USA, and October 24th in the UK will see more AAA titles released than any other time of the year. With Fable II, LittleBigPlanet, Far Cry 2, Dead Space, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows and much more, we have determined that this is the VideoGamiest Day of the Year! Mark your calendars, save your money, as we show you some of the games coming out on what promises to be the most exciting day of 2008.

Well, LittleBigPlanet isn't perfect, as much as we hoped it would be. But the feature to create a level with your friends online is not available straight out of the box. It is a feature that will come in a major update some time after release. How ever, offline 4 player create mode is available from the get-go. This was explained by Sam_Protagonist, a devaloper over at the Playstation website.

Marketing Manager of SCEA, Mark Valledor posted an entry in the Playstation Blog that LBP has gone gold to follow up with this he also mentions people who have preordered the game will receive even more exclusive DLC containing a space suit an a "there week one" t-shirt for their Sackboy.

    "The confirmed global release schedule:

October 21st North America & Latin America
October 22nd Europe, Australia & New Zealand
    October 24th UK & Ireland

(The Japanese release date is currently targeting the week commencing 27th October)
However, this is only the beginning. We won’t be taking it easy just because we have started to manufacture the game! Media Molecule and SCE have a long-term commitment towards expanding the world of LittleBigPlanet and working hard to make sure that ..."

"Peter Molyneux: Nintendo did a brilliant job of doing that at launch with games like Wii Sports and Wii Play - maybe Fable 2 is a defining title. But you are talking to the proud father of this game, so you can't ask me to be tremendously objective.

I think everything I've said about uniqueness, and invention, and bringing people together that haven't played games before - that really applies to LBP. You've never seen anything like it before, and everybody that touches it says it's a uniq..."

The Beta for LittleBigPlanet is now up in Japan. As seen in this picture a theme is now available in the countries Playstation Store. Which when downloaded also signs you onto the Beta, though naturally signing won't necessarily guarantee you entry. Expect US and UK variants soon.

"LittleBigPlanet is a new, ground-breaking PLAYSTATION3 game, combining Platform adventuring with a huge social community. There are places to explore, creative resources to collect and puzzles to solve - all requiring a combination of brains and teamwork.

A rumor started by Minusworld.com prompted me to contact Mr. Boll and find out if there was any truth about him having the rights to a LittleBigPlanet film. Were the results astonishing? No, not really. At least I did my journalistic duty.

The absurdity of it makes it makes this rumor look all but impossible. But then you can never understand what's going on in this crazy german's head. Uwe Boll has apparently bought the rights to a LittleBigPlanet movie and production will commence in 2009. Time to break out the old petition me thinks.

Jeez, there sure has been a lot of LBP excitement as of late. Seems like everyone is pumped for the game and why wouldn't you be? You're getting pre-order treats, costume contests for Sackboys, and a whole lot more!

As you might've guessed, another LBP-related item has been revealed, this time in the form of a video. It shows how the Sackboys are able survive in the wild, as well as what enemies they need to watch out for!

Check the vid in the source.

So it seems, the manual for LittleBigPlanet has been leaked to the internet, perhaps from its previous place on Sony's website. Folks at PS3A picked up on the music credits in it, and you can see what's listed in the quote.

I'm not familiar with any of it really except the Battles track 'Atlas'. Below is the video for it; let's hope the rest of the soundtrack is equally as bizarre and awesome.

Although Americans know where to pre-oder LittleBigPlanet in order to get a certain pre-order item, us Europeans have been left in the dark. Until now. CVG are reporting that UK readers will get the code to download virtual Sack-Kratos for free when they buy the next issue of OPM. The magazine will also include the first, world exclusive, review. Get buying !

Christmas is almost around the corner, and as with every Christmas, the best games are looking to be released in time for parents to go out and buy their kids games. However, GamerChip who previously stated that there may be too many games being released for christmas, have now put together a list of games that they think will succeed and some that they believe will fail. Lets take a look at a few of them...

In an odd move, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have today published the manual for LittleBigPlanet which outlines the use of the games tools and item sets.

The Exploding Barrel was at the PAX located in Washington, checked out a few games, decided to talk about them: LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM: Confrontation, and others!

LittleBigPlanet really impressed everyone. TEB notes that the game gives you so much options when designing your levels that it's unbelievable. You can make fiery pits of doom or turn a ordinary car into a rocket! LBP could be one of the first games on the consoles that has quality user-created content.

    Next up is SOCOM: Confr...

Let me ask you something: Would you have ever heard of Media Molecule if it wasn't for LittleBigPlanet? Everyone is addicted to the game, and it's not even released yet! What makes the game and the Sackboys so popular? GameXtract explains.

Now that we have seen the official box art for Europe, we were all waiting for the final edition of the North American LBP box art. The guys over at the official site have finally revealed it, check it on the right!

They hope in the future they can fix that. Also on the disc their will be around 50 levels with a little story behind it. The game will also take 12 hours to complete. After that, the limits are endless with user created content. There will also be a thermometer that allows shows how complex your level is and how complex you can make...

"LittleBigPlanet dev Media Molecule will be "watching closely" to recruit the best community designers to work as part of the dev team, it told CVG.

Speaking in a recent interview, producer Pete Smith also dismissed previous concerns that it would enforce a charge on the best user created content.

"We've got plans for the future which I can't talk about," said Smith when we asked about the potential of users charging for levels.

At the PAX 2008 located in Washington, someone was kind enough to videotape some LittleBigPlanet gameplay. The level is called Cowabunga and the goal is to stay on the cow as long as possible, quite similar to Buckaroo.

It seems that LittleBigPlanet is everywhere these days and now it's managed to secure it's own PS3 bundle, for Europe at least, priced at € 399.99.

Not in copyright in the "legal" sense, but LittleBigPlanets own version of copyright. Lets say you create a very impress object that other players can collect. A good way to keep some of your ingenieuse ideas safe.

Senior producer of LBP announced at Leipzig that LittleBigPlanet would be region locked, after players were already under the impression that the game would be region free. You can relax now, because Sony SCE development team member "Sam_Protagonist" has set the record straight. LittBigPlanet will in fact have only one region - and that is a LittleBigRegion.

Read the full post at the source for further information.

During Leipzig Pete Smith, the director of LittleBigPlanet, gave the unhappy news the game's online component will be divided into regional servers. Yet according to Playstation Fanboy the very same producer said the game will have a global server just today. So what's going on?

Now that LittleBigPlanet has an official Europe release date of the 29th of October, we can sit down and watch this brand new trailer without having to worry about when we'll be able to get our mitts of the game.

"Sony is preparing Little Big Planet's Sackboy to take on the hefty role of a PlayStation 3 mascot, according to a report from Advertising Age. We know that the company is counting on the downloadable game to sell hardware, but the planned marketing push goes much deeper than that. "We want Little Big Planet to lead the charge into a new genre of gaming and turn Sackboy into the next emblematic character for the PS3," said SCEA marketing manager Mark Valledor. "This is a very big title for us.""

ThreeSpeech has an exclusive image of the finalized UK box art for LittleBigPlanet. Its quite chaotic box art with many things in the background, of course featuring a large image of Sackboy, who has become the mascot of sorts for the game.

    "Announcing the LittleBigPlanet NewsSite!

With LittleBigPlanet slowly reaching it's release date, Media Molecule's co-founder, Alex Evans has told Eurogamer how he wants to do another 'Great Reveal' and tell us how what he'd like to reveal may change how we look at the game...

LittleBigPlanet Central have had some quality hands on time with the latest build of LittleBigPlanet at Comic-Con and have discovered a few new snippets of information that will no doubt interest anyone who has been following the game.

SCEE and Media Molecule have guaranteed fans of the up and coming title LittleBigPlanet that all the content that is going to offered on the launch of the game is going to be at the price of nothing!..

In addition they also mentioned that they are exited about the future of the game once it is released as they should be able to be offering the "users uploaded" content but as of now that will have to wait.

In addition to Sony's plans of allowing gamers to submit there created levels to them which in turn could become potential downloadable content for the game are now planning on extending this idea in which they are now planning on rewarding that creator with a cut of the money that was gained by the product.

So admittedly, E3 2008 was a disappointment for all this year, but that isn't to say that there weren't some great games on show. Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 all made an appearance, but was it enough for them to claim the title of Best of E3 ?

In an interview with Alex Evans, the co-founder of Media Molecule, he told WhatIfGaming that LittleBigPlanet will be coming out in October for BluRay only and a beta will be coming out sometime in September. When asked if it will be public, Evans said it will, but there will be limitations.

    "

"Another LittleBigPlanet video has appeared on the net. This one, like all the others, shows off the sheer amount of things you can do in this game, where you are limited only by your imagination and creativity." Keep flow and sentence length in mind."

"Q: You have shelved the development of Eight Days and The Getaway: what was the thinking behind that?

SY: People were doing the right things on the projects, and there were things in the games that were working really well, but the projects were coming to the end of the pre-production stage, and that is the time when we evaluate every product. Because after that, we would assign more resources to them, and they would really become major investments. This is a regular appraisal process for ..."

"Is there anyone that hasn’t already been won over by LittleBigPlanet? The irresistible cute sack boys/girls wearing Elvis suits or donning a dragon headpiece, it would make most male gamers feel queasy were it not so perfectly crafted to endear even the most hardened heart. If you haven’t already, it might pay to have a look at our preview (here) before reading this post. I wanted to talk about what gives LittleBigPlanet the potential to be a mega hit. Sony know it, you can see that here.

Phil "Game 3.0" Harrison has moved on, but the PS3 developers are still there and it looks like they haven't forgot his teachings. Christopher Grant, a blogger for Joystiq, took a handful of upcoming PlayStation titles out for a little test drive at Sony's Pre-E3 Judge's Event in LA and the one thing he noticed that he wrote down frequently was: community website. Motorstorm: Pacific Rim, Killzone 2, and plenty of other games will have community websites when they are released. It looks like ...

Stephen Totilo has allegedly already played LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation 3 and has released 5 details and nifty features from the game that impressed him the most. They include how the enemies work, an impressive screenshot feature, how music can transform levels into rhythm games, how cool it'd be if you could add water to in the content editor and how you can challenge people to beat your score in a level and reward them for it.

The makers of LittleBigPlanet have said a public beta for LittleBigPlanet is still possible. There were reports of the public beta being canceled from a May Sony event in Europe but Alex Evans, who is the game's technical director, labeled it as a miscommunication. When asked if there will be a public beta, Alex said, “It’s a question of how much, how big."

GamesRadar has updated their LBP gallery with screenshots fresh from the showroom floor. Right from Sony's Gamer Day to your monitor are all the latest images of LBP. From Pirate ships to Serengeti. It seems like Media Molecule has already made some of the cooler levels.

"In our most recent hands-on with LBP, we’re busy creating a mock wedding, merrily slapping wheels and bunny ears onto an EyeToy photo of ourselves before rolling it down a hill to a chapel, where it will ‘marry’ a photo of a fellow journo, decorated with shells and vampire fangs

But that doesn’t explain what LBP actually is - it defies pigeonholing. Is it a platformer? Yes - there are stacks of platform-based Story Mode levels, as you leap from one end of the level to the other, avoiding t..."

"5:00 BST: Just to confirm the earlier Killzone 2 release date of February 2009--no news on whether this is worldwide, but as this is a European conference, that will definitely be the Euro release date. [UPDATE] Thus far, this delay has been announced for Europe only.

4:40 BST: Killzone 2 will be released in February 2009 in Europe.

4:28 BST: LittleBigPlanet will be released on the PlayStation 3 in October. Hirai highlights the success of PlayStation Network, and says that communities w..."

"The channel interviewed Kyle Schubel, senior producer at SCEA, who touched on a number of areas. Although the level in the hands on was created by one of the developers, it was made with the same tools that will be available to all users. And it's a pretty cool level as you'll see from the video below.

Schubel commented on the cloudy issue of dying, dismissing suggestions that the game would be too easy. During the hands on, one of the sackboys falls into a fire pit but simply respawns at ..."

LittleBigPlanet based on three things. Playing the game, creating your world, and showing it off to your friends online.

The game is supposed to make good use of the PS Network when it first comes out. That way it isn't just a game when you get it, but something that will really an evolving experience over time.

    Also the newest video:

With the new edition of High Definition consoles now in stores and selling rapidly like wild fire, the world of video gaming in of itself, is quickly changing. Not long ago you loomed around lazily playing games with a quality so cringing, you literally wanted to rip your eyes out right then and there. But with the new release of all these astounding consoles such as The Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3, the world of gaming has been brightened up and much, much more energizing.

    But now, we ...

I can most certainly say that tekmosis wishes that it was him that managed to get his hands on the leaked build, however who it is, is a wonder, but what can be said is that it's the friend of the Administrator of PS3-Sense.nl website. Caught playing this via the Friends list, you can see it being played in the picture below.

I'm usually not one to submit rumors because I feel it's better to just wait things out until something concrete comes along. However I simply could not resist this. The sheer idea of LBP possibly coming to the PSP is just too sweet.

I have a really good feeling LBP is going to be just massive on the PS3 and if it was developer for the PSP with connectivity features and what not with it's big brother, well, that would just be amazing.

LittleBigPlanet has literally come out of nowhere to become one of the PS3's most anticipated exclusives. And PSU are celebrating this by having a contest to find the biggest LittleBigPlanet fan of all. Have you got the perfect idea for a level? Then create a diagram and send it in. The best entry wins a PlayStation 3 remote along with a USB wi-fi key. Even I am considering entering this.

Thats right, GamePro User's have all chosen Metal Gear Solid 4 as there most anticipated game for the Playstation 3 at the moment with a staggering 57.7% of the vote. Quite incredible that. In second place though follows Gran Turismo 5, third and fourth see the sequels of Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 whilst staggering in for fifth spot is LittleBigPlanet.

In addition to that I assume this is only for Playstation 3 exclusive games as many of you are probably pondering.. Where is GTA:IV! I t...

"Details originally cropped up here, claiming the company had pinned down a September release for LittleBigPlanet

When contacted by videogaming247, an SCEE spokesperson stated, “Yes this information is all correct - although it has been in the public domain for a while now.”

Although LittleBigPlanet had previously been pegged for a September release in Europe, both Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 had yet to receive any information on when PAL gamers could expect them on store shelves."

    "Dead Space (Oct 31, 360/PS3/PC)

Dead Space feels eerily similar to Aliens, but the introductory trailer and our first hands-on demonstrated a level of suspense, mood, and intensity we haven't seen in a while. The premise: the entire crew of a deep space mining ship has gone missing, and it's up to you, the sole survivor, to rid the vessel of alien baddies. It should be noted that EA's survival horror only marginally beat out Left 4 Dead (360/PC), the fast-paced Zombie Killer by Valve with ..."

At the European PlayStation forums, there is some word that the moderators have the game in a closed beta stage. While this may anger some Little Big Planet fans, you shouldn't worry much cause there hasn't been a confirmation yet. So until we hear more about this, its going to be put in the rumor bin until more is found out.

    Check here for addition information.

"We’re all totally in love with our little Sackboy character, we’ve spent a couple years watching him run, jump and slap his way though dozens of levels, and the little chap has so much personality we could almost believe he’s real.

So our collective jaws hit the floor when we saw what one of our artists MOTHERS had made, Silvia’s actually made Sackboy, for real, in all his knitted and stitched glory! It’s so good we wondered if we’d hired the right member of the family to work here! (Not r..."

The annual Top Ten Vaporware Games of 2007 went up recently, and looking from the list, most of the winning games are PS3 titles--more specifically, PS3 titles that are yet to be released. Well, the rules for this list don't exactly follow the ones of the usual ones. The major one being that the games don't need to have a 2007 release date on it. However, for it to make the list it needs to have attained a certain level of "hype."

And it's no surprise that the No.1 on this list is the much...

Some disappointing news for LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 fans. In Threespeechs 2008 preview, they talked about all the great upcoming games that will hit the Playstation 3. And When they talked about what games will come out in fall, they happened to mention LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 on that list. Does this mean the games are pushed that far back, or is ThreeSpeach just off?

While BioShock scooped the Spike VGA 'Game of the Year' gong, and the likes of Super Mario Galaxy and Rock Band both did well during the evening's awards, the popular celeb-infested event also threw up a raft of World Premiere trailer exclusives, which you can see in just one click via M&C Gaming.

Expect to feast your eyes on Prototype, Borderlands, Iron Man, LittleBigPlanet, Afro Samurai, and more...

Michael Pachter. believes that Little Big Planet is a console seller for Sony, since its innovative and has a family element that Sony lacks in their games. He also adds that if Sony can make a price cut or cheaper SKU's with Little Big Planet game launch you could get a big spike in sales.

And Pachter thinks if Sony doesn't make a price-cut this holiday they might not meet there target of 11 millions worldwide sales.

"Remember those old concept pics showing Mario, Master Chief and Katamari Damacy in LittleBigPlanet? Well it looks like it's entirely possible to have them in the final game yourself.

"That was just early concept art," creative director Mark Healey informed CVG, "but you can customise your character so much that that's entirely possible." Our LBP character's going to have a nice set of Master Chief armour then...

Healey says that because you can pimp out your character with "stickers" im..."

"LittleBigPlanet is a new PS3 community-based game with a hugely innovative concept behind it. Players meet on a blue and green planet scattered with individual plots – and use their character’s amazing abilities to play, create and share what they build with other gamers throughout the world via PSN.

It would seem someone had gotten too excited and leaked the official boxart of this upcoming PS3 exlusive game. This has neither been confirmed nor denied, we will keep you posted."

"It's funny -- I don't think we actually mentioned this previously, but yes, we will certainly have enemies in the game; I think that's a fundamental part of good gameplay," said Wilson. "They will range from little robots that simply roam from left to right to spectacularly complex beasts that pose quite a challenge. We've recently built this big, huge giant, and, as with other objects in the game, he's composed entirely of materials that you wouldn't expect. He's quite intimidating, and show..."

"Unfortunately, before I had even settled into my seat, a Sony rep walked up and said, "Alex, we really need you to do interviews now."

"Oh, ok. Should I shut this game down?" Alex replied.

My heart momentarily sank but my hope rose again when the Sony rep said, "No, we've got somebody else coming to demo it."

Okay, even with someone else running the demo, I figured I'd still have a good time. My eyes drew back to the screen in front of me. My fellow editor had created a sticker the s..."

"It seems as if LitteBigPlanet public beta is almost ready and could be hitting PSN very soon, maybe by the fall if the rumors are anything to go by. The game has got many gamers exited and lets be fair it does look fantastic.

There are so many great features being added to LittleBigPlanet, one which I personally like is your character’s different mood changes, which can be changed just by hitting a direction the your D-pad. With these different moods the character will act differently, i..."

"When you first get your hands on LittleBigPlanet, your reaction will be to laugh at it. It might be even a little giggle, but some form of laughter will definitely come due to such fun and brilliant innovation presented by Media Molecule, the talent behind Rag Doll Kung Fu. LittleBigPlanet begins primarily with players learning about their character's powers to interact physically with the environment. There are obstacles to explore, and puzzles to solve, all of which requires a combination o..."

"Please allow us a moment of editorializing before we get to the meat of this preview: LittleBigPlanet is awesome. There--now that we've got that out of our system, we can move on and try to describe what developer Media Molecule was showing off of their fascinating adventure/creation game here at E3 2007. The demo presented at the Sony media HQ showed off a number of different aspects of LBP that look to comprise a game that is both big on charm and fully dedicated to making each player's exp..."

In this article, we have been given two brand new images of what LittleBigPlanet is going to look like, and it gives us a slight sniggle at what te gameplay will be about.

"Let’s start with the little. In this game from Media Molecule, you can make your button-eyed, hemp-skinned, zip-fronted little avatar run, jump… and act. The D-pad selects facial expressions: grin, grimace and frown. The right stick waves its arms around together, but hold down L2 and R2 and the left and right sticks can move them independently. And, in a simple stroke of genius, tilting the Sixaxis controller moves its head. You can assume attitudes, look at things in the game world, dance; ..."
