"While Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has confirmed that the LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year edition will see a release in Europe, all has been very quiet since the title arrived in North American stores in September last year. Now however, it appears that the announcement of a release date may be just around the corner, as SCEE has revealed the official European box art design for the forthcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive."

LittleBigPlanet just saw its first anniversary, a portable launch, and a re-launched community site. With that, Media Molecule have released a series of concept arts into the wild, detailing the game at its earlier and later stages.

"Sega and Sony are working together to bring Sonic into the PlayStation 3 version of LittleBigPlanet. In the middle of December, five Sonic the Hedgehog costumes based on Sonic Unleashed will be released as downloadable content. It looks like some ICO goodies will be making an appearance in hit platformer LittleBigPlanet sometime soon, a teaser having just been released showing Yorda and Ico in Sackboy form. It could be fake, the image isn't exactly high quality, but it would certainly bring new publicity to both games.

Have you ever wondered what Sackboy is made of? Probably not. He's most likely made of material and filled with fluff.
Well not according to NY artist and toy designer Jason Freeney. His interpretation of Sackboy's anatomy shows that Sackboy could be made of more squishy things...

"Not sure if you caught it this past weekend, but our own little SackBoy was zipping (pun intended) around the track as part of the NASCAR Nationwide Series, thanks to our friends at GameStop. After laps and laps around Memphis Motorsports Park, the #20 LittleBigPlanet car, with Joey Logano at the wheel, finished 5th - putting him back in 1st place in the Nationwide Series owner standings. LittleBigPlanet comes out in the US in exactly one week, but not everyone seems to want to play by the same rules. Not only is the game being reported to have been leaked through reviewers and stuffed up pre-orders but in the country of Kuwait the game is being sold openly by a store called Rehab Center. Or so a user on the PS3FORUMS claims.
A insider has managed to get some snaps of the boxart for upcoming PS3 game LittleBigPlanet. Now for a long time any gamer interested in the title must know that the game will require a mandatory install to run, and this boxart when enhanced reveals just how much of your hardrive you'll need to clear out to accommodate the game. The last game to have adverts of this size was Grand Theft Auto IV, but LittleBigPlanet seems to be challenging the throne with this new mural put up especially for the Leipzig conference that is scheduled to take place in just a few days time.
