One of the popular trends right now for LBP2 fans is remaking popular games like Mario and Pac-Man. Here are the top 10 game remakes on LBP2.
LittleBigPlanet was a massive success with its ability for a virtually limitless amount of creativity given to the player. With this creativity comes the question whether a sequel is actually needed. Even with this question, LittleBigPlanet 2 was created and released. Is LBP2 innovative enough to enhance players experience beyond the original LBP? Read on to find out.
"Though it sometimes seems like the console wars will never end, in reality, all three companies have found a hefty segment in today’s industry. There’s no doubt that the PS3 struggled upon its release, and the PSP seems to have been lagging behind the DS for years, but that doesn’t mean Sony hasn’t built up an impressive collection of exclusive games between the two consoles. From the award-winning to the slightly overrated, here’s the top 10 Sony franchises of the current generation:"
"Media Molecule managed to do something brilliant with Little Big Planet 1. They created a simple, cheap and delightfully entertaining game and then got someone else to build bucket loads of levels for free! Not only did the gamers build for free but what started out as a budget saving plan by the developers soon became the best feature of the game, the user’s took to it like a duck to water and boy did they build a lot of levels over 2.5 million in fact!""

"We've managed to crawl out of our own dark machines in order to record another podcast. Included in discussion this week are Dead Space 2, Little Big Planet 2, the Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 demos, Demon's Souls, Resonance of Fate, Fallout New Vegas, and more.
This week's news consists of mostly PSP2... I mean NGP. We also greet the return of user emails, and a bit of movie discussion. Stay tuned at the end of the show if you want to hear some spoiler talk about the ending of Dead Space 2. U..."
"Since LBP2 is a four-player affair, the remaining chair was rotated out to people who weren’t as sleep deprived: fans, developers and local supporters. Two of the more interesting guests to take up a controller were cast members of Jersey Shore."
"The new game works in exactly the same way as before, with three main layers for sackboy to navigate. Using the new tools however it is possible to make all kinds of things that weren’t quite as possible before, such as top down games, puzzle games, etc. They still use the three layers, it’s just a trick of the eye!"
"In 2008, Sony attempted to force-feed their starving fan base a lovable mascot in the form of Sackboy, and it worked. LittleBigPlanet was a sizable success, catapulted far beyond the core creation by developer Media Molecule thanks in large part to the viral, user-created levels. Two years later, the original LittleBigPlanet community is still ripe with over three million user-made creations and counting, so I have to wonder why (other than money) this sequel exists, as it feels like little m..."

"Although one and a half members are missing for this cast, it still goes pretty well while we talk about Little Big Planet 2, Enslaved, Vanquish, Gran Turismo 5, Mafia 2, Resonance of Fate, Gal Gun, and Eve Online.
As always we cover the week in gaming news, then chat about movies including The Fighter, Tron, and Harry Potter and the Long Movie Title Part One."
"Zoom forward to 2011, and we’re finally playing LittleBigPlanet 2 exclusive on the PS3. The original game was marketed simply as a platforming game.
This time, however, it’s marketed as a platform for games.
Not only does it succeed the original in every single way, it makes the original look bland and unattractive.
But is it a game that would have been great on the 360 too?"
"Pretend we’re playing a word association game, like the kind you have to play with your psychiatrist before he hands over your Adderall prescription. Ready? I say “Nintendo,” you say “Mario.” I say “Sega,” you say “Sonic.” I say “Microsoft,” you reply, “Master Chief?”
I say “Sony.” You pause. “..I don’t know, Crash Bandicoot?”"

"This year has seen some of the most anticipated games ever and many lived up to the hype. Others lay strewn on the battlefield, only the ghosts remaining to remind us what could have been. Sadly, this will be the last ever game of the year, as the world is ending at some point next year so it’s a good thing this is a bloody brilliant list. Let’s kick it off with the most original introduction to an awards list ever; and the nominees are..."
"When the rumors started flying that Media Molecule were at it again I must admit, I was skeptical. My first reaction was that those rumors were just that, rumors, insubstantial and most likely false, like so much of the content that gets "Leaked" onto the internet. After all, why make a new game when you can just patch the stuff you want into an existing one?................. That was before I played the Beta."

"How do you expand on a platforming game that essentially let you create any platforming level your imagination could muster? By removing the label of platformer. LBP 2 is not a platforming game. While the bulk of the main story will be platforming, and so will many of the user-created levels, platforming has suddenly become just one part of the experience. LBP 2 will allow users to create whatever they want. Want to play a driving game reminiscent of Micro Machines? Easy. How about a J-RPG? G..."
The latest Kevin Butler ad featuring Best Buy was bad-ass enough as it is, but Media Molecule has recreated the entire experience using nothing but LittleBigPlanet 2's Sackboys. Awesome results await.

"Critical Gamer writes: No matter which publishers are your favourite it’s important to remember that they are all, at the end of the day, businesses. This has led to them coming in for a lot of criticism from games fans over the years, being blamed for everything from rushing a game out early to maximise profit to suppressing fresh and exciting ideas. Speaking to us at the Eurogamer Expo at the weekend, however, Media Molecule co – founder Alex Evans told us of his sincere belief that big pub..."
Media Molecule is hard at work creating a gaming experience that retains much of what the first LittleBigPlanet offered gamers while still feeling fresh with its own unique features. LittleBigPlanet 2 looks to be a lot bigger than its predecessor by allowing you to not only create levels that you can link together to create your own game, but music as well.
"Critical Gamer writes: One of the problems facing Little Big Planet 2 is that we pretty much know what to expect. The original seemed set to change the industry by bringing about the user generated revolution in which there would always be new content available. It was the game that would never end, the game which would set the bar for value to which all other games would aspire. It was the game that was supposed to never need a sequel, so I had mixed emotions about LittleBigPlanet 2. Having ..."
"If you were hoping for a copy of Little Big Planet 2 in your stocking later this year, we’re afraid that Father Christmas will be having supplier issues as Media Molecule have pushed back the date of LittleBigPlanet 2 to January 2011."

"LittleBigPlanet 2 is predominantly about creating some awesome levels of your own and sharing them with your friends, but the latest trailer released suggests that the sequel will contain a story mode consisting of at least 50 levels! More bang for our buck, and no doubt this adventure mode will be playable co-operatively with friends; good times. Check out the trailer below:"
