Some pretty decent reviews aside from the 50% from Gamespy. North America gamers can already look forward to poor packaging, lets hope the game doesn't disappoint!
Kotaku have heaped together all the reviews of Lost Odyssey they could find, and it seems that the game is aimed towards fans of the classic RPG (or to be more specific, the classic Final Fantasy) audience.
While random battles and slow loading times seem to be the game's main problem (which might not even be a problem for people looking for an "old style" RRG), it's story, characters and audio are said to be top-notch and definitely worth playing for anyone interested in a deep RPG experie...
Ever since Hironobu Sakaguchi left the helm of Squaresoft, there has been a big hole missing from the Final Fantasy series. The games were never quite the same after their creator had left, and unfortunately for Sakaguchi, his new gaming company "Mistwalker" didn't start off as successfully as he had hoped either.
