Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition

Determined to not give up in Japan, Microsoft has announced a new bundle for their console: the "Xbox 360 Elite Value Pack", which will release on October 29th and will retail for 29,800 yen.

The bundle will contain the Xbox 360 Elite console (with wireless controller, headset, and 120GB hard drive), alongside Namco's flight title Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, and Capcom's Lost Planet Colonies.

"The Platinum Hits Triple Pack combines Dead Rising, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - Colonies Edition and Devil May Cry 4 in one pack. Each of these games has been re-released in North America as Platinum Hits “Best Seller” status (while Devil May Cry 4 is yet to receive the equivalent “Classics” release in Europe) and together have sold over three million units in the territory alone."

David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake, held a Q&A with fans during the Anime Expo, which was hosted in Los Angeles. During the Q&A, Hayter revealed that he is probably going to direct an unannounced action and adventure game and he will also be working on a screenplay for the film version of Lost Planet. Hayter is really looking forward to working on the Lost Planet movie, saying that he appreciates the core of the story.

Expanding on these rumblings of Capcom's upcoming secret projects, the company has said one of them will be 'a surprising take on a next-gen favourite.' Considering this recent interview with Street Fighter IV's producer, I'm betting on Lost Planet. How about you?
