"Shadowrun was far from a success, only selling about 230,000 copies worldwide to date. It's unfortunate because I can't help but feel that the game was lost in Microsoft's cross-platform, Windows Live hype. I'm not sure that it indirectly made the game any worse but I think the extra attention might have actually done a disservice, overhyping the reality which was a markedly average game."
