At the end of the season, the world will see for itself whether Madden NFL 10 is, in fact, the ultimate sports simulation.
The Madden Curse has claimed its latest victim. For those of you who haven't heard of the Madden Curse, it says that any athlete featured on Maddeb NFL's game cover, will be injured in some way.
This year's cover athlete Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers injured his knee in last night’s game versus the Tennessee Titans. While trying to recover a blocked field goal, Polamalu sprained his Medial Collateral Ligament, and will be out for 3-6 weeks.

ESPN.com did a comparison of Michael Vick's stats from the Madden 08 and Madden 10. Overall, Michael Vick's quarterback rating fell from 90 to 73. This is due, in large part, to the noticeable drop in his accuracy and awareness ratings. Madden seems to think Michael Vick's penitentary time effected his playing ability. We will find out if this is true when Michael Vick starts playing for the Eagles.

GCHD posted a simulated NFL Draft today using Madden NFL 10 and NCAA 10 custom rosters, and the results are pretty amazing. The draft is now full of sleepers and flops, therefore making it more realistic and scouting more crucial.

EA Sports has announced that the street date for their upcoming Madden NFL 10 will be August 14th. The game is releasing on all major systems (and minor ones) including the PC, which Madden 09 missed. Along with a slew of enhancements will be improved visuals as well as character AI and animations.
