In just it's first week of release, Visual Concepts MLB 2K10 is already suffering from online issues. There have been reports of lag, disconnect issues and now players are unable to get into a ranked match. 2K has officially commented on these issues and has released a "workaround".

Xbox Evolved was invited to a conference call hosted by 2K Sports in preparations of Major League Baseball 2K10's release on March 2nd. The developers basically answered a round of Qs for an hour.
