Mario Super Sluggers came out just three days ago in the U.S.A. and Gamespot has now reviewed it, giving a not so good score of 6.5 outta 10.

Gamespot notes that the single-player challenge mode was incorporated very well into the game, saying that it was "one of the strengths of Mario Superstar Baseball". A knock against the game is production values. Aside from the character models, everything else looks the same as its GameCube predecessor.

The latest week of Japanese sales are in, with a bunch of new releases lining the charts, headlined by the latest remake from Square Enix: Dragon Quest V DS.

The top seller this week is the aforementioned Dragon Quest V for the DS, selling a whopping 644k units. Coming in second is the latest Gundam game, Gundam Battle Universe for the PSP, selling 138k copies. While the E3 Media & Business summit remains three weeks away, Nintendo has already announced release dates for four upcoming games for both the Wii and DS. While they will save the bigger announcements for E3, these will undoubtedly be available for impressions at E3.
