Unfortunately for those who did purchase Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds the upgrade to Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is going to be a disk only. The development schedule has been blamed for an inability to work out the details for a DLC release as well as the amount of data in the game.

Street Fighter II has the honor of being one of the greatest fighting games ever. Just think about some of the things the game brought to gaming. What would the world be without Street Fighter II?

"There have already been plenty of lists about who should be added as DLC to the roster of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds. We all know the odds-on favorites: Frank West. Phoenix Wright. Gambit. Venom. But what about the characters we have next to no chance of seeing—not because they were a licensed character (Tremor), or because they’re a character more associated with Disney than Marvel (Aladdin), or because they’re just too ridiculous (Squirrel Girl)—but simply because they’re too o..."
Funny as it sounds, I'm just not into the fighter games anymore - even though I grew up around them, my son was perficent in them and one would thinkj an 'older gamer' would find them nostalgic . . . I just don't.

"Capcom is known for pushing out strong franchises like Resident Evil, Dead Rising, and Street Fighter. A recent study found that playing videogames an hour before you sleep can disrupt your sleeping habits. The study says that the interactive lights emitting from the games is the reason that keeps us up at night. I'm sure drinking the Redbull while you pwn a noob on Xbox Live has nothing to do with it.
"It took a decade for it to happen, but Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has finally hit the shelves. Loaded with all the intense gameplay and beautiful graphics any fighting junkie could ever dream for, Capcom’s latest foray into the Vs. series was worth the wait. I’m not even a fan of the series yet this game pulled me in for some major enjoyment. I didn’t grow up on arcades; I grew up on Playstation haha. So while this will definitely be a nostalgic trip for many, for those new to the series there’s much to like. ""

"Marvel vs Capcom 3 is broken. Was it worth ten years? I’m not a huge fighting game fan. I’ve never enjoyed Street Fighter, but I’ve always loved Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Calibur, and I had my fair share of MVC2. After sitting down with the game since its launch, playing about twenty hours worth (and surely dozens more), it’s time to talk about MVC3 in all of its nerdy and unfair glory."

"The release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on XBLA was a turning point for Capcom. It seems that was the moment they realized that giving fans what they want yields amazing results. Although I have no idea what the deal entailed, sharing the Marvel license with Activision was undoubtedly no small feat, and yet Capcom did the impossible and here we are today, playing the game that everyone wanted but no one ever expected to happen."

Thankfully, with the advent of DLC, it looks like we’ll be getting more characters well after the release of the game, with Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath starting things off."
